I actually like the show for the same reasons he doesn't enjoy the show. The reading of the spam messages is the funniest part to me.

I've been trying to follow some youtube channels and such that crack all of these wonderful beers but can't find anyone I really enjoy watching. Plenty of them sound like they have no idea what they're talking about, and plenty more are just an absolute bore to listen to. What channels/websites/resources do you like to explore most for quality beer reviews?

Beer Geek Nation and Gregs Beers Reviews are my favorite in terms of weekly output, quality, and relevant beers (not all whalez all the time).

The best resource is right here if you ask me - look up the beer you want and then check the box above the ratings which says "Display reviews only." to filter out the numerical reviews. I generally look to two or three BAs in particular for their written reviews if I'm on the fence about trying a particular beer - BEERchitect, MasterSki and UCLABrewN84. Always informative reviews, descriptive and very thorough, not to mention that those guys have collectively reviewed more than 10,000 of beers on this site, so odds are they've got it covered. You can filter through the "top reviewers" and these three guys are always on the first page of the reviews.

I've come across some vlog-style beer reviews on youtube, but I didn't think they were particularly well done. Mostly because the reviews went off on tangents that just either A) weren't relevant to the beer being reviewed (or even beer for that matter) or B) were shameless plugs for "likes" - kills any credibility if you ask me.

Most of the u-tube reviewers, as you point out, pretty much lacking and seem more interested in showmanship than beer. I gave up on them and focus on finding reviewers on this site who write reviews of beers I have had that agree with my tastes so that I can then use their reviews as one part of the information I use in making purchasing decisions.

I think most of the video reviewers I've seen are more comedy than good info. I personally think BA is the finest resource for good info on beer characteristics. I like @BuckeyeNation and @BEERchitect for great, accurate reviews that resemble my own palate.

I check in with BeerGeekNation every now and then, basically because everything else beer-wise on YouTube is poorly filmed, poorly executed, no quality etc. Meanwhile BeerGeek pretty much reviews everything the same, with similar reaction to everything and no real depth. It's just cool to see him pour a beer and give a little background.

If your into Youtube reviews, why are you here? This is an entire site dedicated to Beer and its review. I'm not trying to be hateful towards the OP, but its almost like going to McDonalds and asking where the best Burger King is in town.

Hey now! I do YouTube reviews. Almost 5 years and 350 or so. I do it for fun not for notoriety. But we can't please everybody.

I like the occasional reviews presented by Bruguru. He used to write for Yankee Brew News magazine and knows what he is talking about. My friend @utopiajane "The Girl Next Store" puts a lot of effort into her reviews and does a nice job.

DJs brew tube is quickly becoming my favorite you tube channel
Erie better beer bureau is right at the top
Peter master of hoppets is right at the top too
Erik wood is fantastic and honest and funny
Greg's beer reviews are solid but he can ramble and complain a bit
Old better beer authority videos are awesome and fun to watch
Albino rhino has some good insight plus his are laid back and goofy
Craft beer temple is probably the most informative with DJs brew tube
    Beer geek nation annoys me
Hopzine is ok but the host always sounds like he has a head cold
Dar482 is great for being so new to the beer scene, he usually has pretty good insight
    Clements home brew is funny
Keith's beer reviews are always thought out and seem genuine

In conclusion, I watch too many you tube beer reviews
