    10/14 - Sadie - $25

"SADIE marks the third beer in our 2014 series of barrel-aged beers.

SADIE is an expressive ale that was carefully aged in bourbon barrels for one year. Rich accents of caramel and vanilla are carefully intertwined with delicate notes of oak and toasted oats. This inspired beer is remarkably adventurous and delightfully spirited – just like its namesake.

SADIE will be released as a limited edition beer on Tuesday, October 14th at 6pm at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach and Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, California.

SADIE will be available in 22oz. bottles at both Beachwood locations.

Brewed & bottled by Beachwood Brewing in Long Beach, California
Enjoy Fresh or cellar at 45°-55°F
    12% ABV
    Retail Price: $25/22oz. bottle"

Still not loving the $25 price point that these BA beers have, but Jena-Quad was amazing tasting so I suppose I'm hooked.

Wonder what the bottle limited/bottle count is going to be on this.

Would've loved to try BA JQVD. Really enjoyed the regular.

I agree about the price point. I thought 8 Buffalo wasn't worth that price.

Still, I'd prob make an effort to make it out there for this.

Do not like the pricing on their special bottle releases, even their IPA bottle pricing is a bit high. I assume they use some kind of mobile bottling line which drives the pricing up a bit. In any case give me growlers of their IPAs all day long. Amalgamator tonight, so good.

I agree. Love BW. But the prices always kill me. Was there Sunday for 2 growler fills of Amalgamator. Best damn beer from BW.

When was the last time a brewery lowered it's prices? Honest question.

Bootleggers dropped the price of a growler of knuckle sandwich from $25 to $20 a month (or two?) Ago.

Mother Earth just canned Cali Creamin' and Kismet is next, those will be price drops from the bombers.

Going bomber to 6 pack is one of the only times you see price drops.

That was fairly recently, and according to the owner it was because people on BA were complaining.

Pricing will go up. The pricing has gone up here in the LA/OC area over the last 4-5 years. Yes even BW. PtE and BP was 5.5 and 5 a few years ago. Their house beers were 5 & 5.5 when they first opened. They've gone up a buck since. I don't see them going down. Not with everybody else raising their prices. But I think BW's prices are still better than most places I've been in the LA/OC area.

I think that was like a month ago. But is it permanent markdown? Or temp? I didn't care for it's recent bottle release. And I paid 8.99 for it. It ain't the same recipe. Not sure whats going on with the BOOT.

Oooh, nice. Was hoping for this to be updated soon. Looking forward to more Citraholic and Denver Jackhammer later this year.

I think the only way to pay for a decent priced beer at BW is growler fills. Still at 17 and 20 for refills. Not bad compared to most other places that make decent beers. Smog's IPA's are at 22 & 24 for growler fills. But that includes the tax. BW adds the tax on after the fact. Nobles prices include tax.

Yes looking forward to Denver & CitraHolic. But that Amalgamator is still my favorite overall. Still tasting the same as the first batch last year in Feb. But also looking forward to the Vulcanizer. Curious.
