    It's a Central European (usually Polish, although it comes from other roots as well) sausage, usually smoked, in various configurations/recipes. Typically beef or pork, but nowadays also turkey if you feel the need for a more healthy version. The spices vary, the thickness varies, and I don;t believe all versions are smoked. Hillshire Farms makes what is probably the most widely distributed, but maybe not very authentic, version found in most grocery stores.

    Hello BA!

    I'm gonna post the pics of last night's tasting followed by what i'm enjoying as I write this:

    First, I finished off a growler of Bodhi a fellow BA mistakenly sent my way (he's being repaid :wink: ) and boy, I LOVED it!

    The night followed with Bells MARS - which I was trying for the first time as well and while it was boozy, I found it balanced and with enough malty sweetness to be quite enjoyable:

    I then tried "Café Ole" from Due South for the first time - finding it to be an incredibly solid coffee vanilla porter, I was surprised!
