Exactly. Raising the price makes sense for this one-time release, but are you going to buy Gose, IPA, One Claw, etc. throughout the year if you a feel a brewery is taking advantage of you?

For the record I don't think $30 is -- the demand is there for them to raise the product without being labeled greedy. But if it were, say, $50 a bottle or more it would be another story.

haven't decided. I'm supposed to be in Nashville for the Vandy game, but we're 20.5 favorites, so it's a game I could miss. Of course, I love nashville, so that's a problem as well.

We'll win...it'll be ugly, and sloppy, due to big game hangover, but not one I'd feel bad about missing, if I were you.

Well, worst case scenario you get to see the Commodorks get thrashed and can swing by Asheville on the way back home. Not too shabby

Yep - it's Wes. I'm thinking about it. Having been to the brewery - I'm just curious where the mob is going to park and walk from... up and down the side of Wando Park Blvd? The whole "can't be there before 6" thing is a really bad call.

I completely agree with @JdoubleA, I was confused at first - but the graph he just drew in my office changed my mind.

No one throw a hissy fit when 1200 people show up and they wind up going to smaller limits like they did last year.

yup. when you want a wale it's legit. when someone else wants a wale they are a bro, right? nerds have been doing the exact same thing for years we are just mad that it's not as easy as it used to be.

you are so far out of touch with the situation it isn't even funny and i don't mean that as an insult. there were 150-200 people in line for bbl sexual chocolate a few weeks ago at 1:30am for a 9am release. mexi-cakes are about 10 times more hyped than bbl sexy so i would expect the line to actually start forming around midnight if not sooner. all the geeks are in town and who is going to get a hotel room and only stay in it for a few hours. a few, but most will be camping in the woods. seriously.

True, I just feel like they severely underestimated the demand last year and may be doing the same thing this year. Hopefully I'm wrong but realistically I feel like more than 425 people are going to show up with 2+ days notice and a weekend morning release. Especially now that they are letting people set up tents in the woods.

I want to see pictures of this gig when it goes down..

I don't envy anyone who wants to stand in line for hours on end for assumed liquid currency.

Now they've decided to let people camp in the woods? Is that where "the line" is forming? Seems to me the majority of people will show up right before 6 AM, and will really not care who is camped in the woods, and it will just be a bum rush to get to the brewery where wristbands are distributed. This has all of the makings of a disaster, in my opinion...

Creeping in the woods is real. My friend has already mentioned the idea! In all honesty, with all the trouble people will cause loitering in the streets and/or forming a line "in the woods," they are going to wish they would have allowed the real line to form MUCH earlier.

I knew a guy that stood in line for 8 hours, in the pouring rain, for a taste of Younger. There will be PLENTY of people waiting even longer for these beers. I'm actually considering going just to see the chaos. And for the trade bait.

Last year was so much fun; this year seems like its going to suck. I'm going to be really pissed if I leave at midnight, drive 5 and a half hours only to find out that i dont get beer because a bunch of people ignored the rules. then i will rob them of their bottles, and it will be all worth it.
