1. Schell Hefe: Probably the best made hefe in the states but harder to find than bigfoot in the forest. The day they start promoting and distributing this heavier is the day all the non beer geeks will find it.

2. Liftbridge HopDish: I've done numerous blind tasters of IPA's with all the big hitters and this is always in the final two or three and wins a lot.

3. Surly Abrasive: World Class DIPA

4. Schell Bock: I hate to go back to the same brewery again but I have to. Again, one of the top made bocks in the U.S.

5. Indeed Shenanigans: Great summer beer. The Sorachi Ace hops lemony notes blend perfectly with a slight touch of honey.

6. Indeed Day Tripper: Just a top notch apa with a ton of character.

Would have put Darkness in this for sure if in the proper container for this exercise. Steel Toe Size 7 would have been strongly considered as well as several other bomber type offerings.

-Just missed Surly Furious and Bender....Bent Paddle Black Ale, Mankato Original, Summit Unchained Ryeipa.

(It's a pity that not all of the breweries package in a format that will, but it's the OP's set of parameters. )

 

I like this 6-pack. Possibly the only change that I would make is remove Ring Neck Braun Ale and replace it with Mankato Leaf Raker.
