CANBIF Fall 2014 - Hints and hauls

Box is in the mail via Canada post!

If all goes well my target should have it Friday. No more hints for now. I'll drop a good one later in the week.

 

Shipper and last few goodies arriving tomorrow. If all goes well I will be shipping out on Tuesday morning.

 

I'm laying the blame of the lack of marshmallows at the feet of our newborn

 

Hopefully. I got an email tonight saying there's a delay with clearance.

Box is in the mail! Scheduled for delivery next Monday (29th) but from recent experiences there's a really good chances my target receive his box this Friday.

246 oz, mostly locals, including 2 official wants and 2 almost official wants and a little something to eat.

 

And now I hang my head in shame for making you choose.... I blame it on low blood sugar.

 

Nah, he deserves a big boourns. Sleep is for beginners, you don't need stuff like that.

 

It was a hard choice..

 

I suspected that Electros' box might have been coming my way, and it has arrived! Of course it's going to make it difficult to work this afternoon. I'll post a pic tonight after I crack it open!

 

More shopping done at lunch today...acquired some solid Ontario offerings and a one off or two. Will be filling up the rest of the box with things from the cellar.

Hint # 4: its hard to find Canadian wants for you...because you don't have any listed...but like me enjoy good beer that you haven't rated...so really not that hard at all

Just dropped off my box at FedEx!
I think it's around 235oz + swag!

Another hint is that Marcus told me that my target has an impressive cellar but should enjoy my box!

 

Box dropped off. Totalled out at 262 oz. Managed to squeeze a bit of swag in too. Should arrive in a very flat place on Thursday.

100% local.

 

Acquired some silly harvest beer today. Sadly that means my box will now only be 278oz

 

Lots of boxes going out today, add mine to the list!

7 locals (6 are good, one is just ...we'll call it the "interesting" beer). Went for a mix of stuff that I like and no repeats from previous BIF's. Hint: There's no Sartori Harvest in the box. It's okay though, I scored a few today and will drink one tonight while thinking of my target! Cheers bud!

 

Box is packed up and ready to go, should go out tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
My targets a little vague or wide open depending on perspective, not many local sours in these parts so I had to throw in a few European brews for him. The West will be well represented in this box, enjoy!!

 

I picked up the marshmallow replacement beer today which takes my box to 8350ml (~283oz) including a fresh growler and it should be going out in a day or two.
