It sounds awesome, but for $17?!?! WTF? That would be a crazy price even if it was barrel-aged.

Founders makes some really solid brews, but god damn are they selling out. It's a shame...

Yeah, I feel the price range for this is a bit off. $12-13 should be about right. There is no characteristic that says "so therefore we will price it higher than a normal bomber".

Yeah, just saw this on their FB site. Prefer higher ABV but I'll still look forward to trying it. In fact, I'm planning a road trip to see my family in Detroit that week...just to make a side trip to GR for some on tap!

Well at least this is something I actually won't mind trying (not an IPA guy) though the price tag is a bit steep for the offering but hell if I pay it for Evil Twin beers sure can't complain about spending it locally.

17 isn't bad considering the 23 dollar ba bells cherry stout that really wasn't very good..

Hey Founders, one of your instate pals is supposed to release Dragon's Milk with raspberries soon. Wonder how much it will cost?

Founders latest beer is really (awesome/lame) and priced (too high/perfectly), they've really (sold out/stayed true to their roots). It was extremely (easy/difficult) for me to find because it (sat on/flew off) shelves. Its nice to see them making a (high/low) ABV beer and offering it in the (750ml/4pack/6pack) format. I sure hope they (make this one again/finally make CBS,Black Biscuit, Panther Cub).

i'm intrigued by this as well. i am sure it'll be fantastic, because i think all their stouts are. but i feel at 17 SUGGESTED retail, thats steep. i can't wait to hear all the bitching people will be doing when they pay 25-30 for a bottle. i personally barrel aging a beer is overrated. i don't need everything BBA. i will seek this out, but i wont pay more then retail. just principals. i didn't care for the smoked porter this year, and i felt dissenter was ok. i wish i would have saved sweet repute though. oh well. im hoping this is the best of the bunch.

Founders latest beer is really precipitous and priced magnanimously, they've really found a dollar bill on the sidewalk. It was extremely mindless for me to find because it divested shelves. It's nice to see them making a foolish ABV beer and offering it in the garbage pail format. I sure hope they all dogs go to heaven!

Founders mad libs. The next big thing.

I liked that one and Dissenter at my local in a snifter. Doom and Boltcutter, not so much. The Smoked Porter did not have enough smoke, but was OK.

    We all have different palates.

Well Rubaeus is like Sparkling Raspberry Water. If this is anything like Rubaeus, it is going to be less than appealing. ... BTW, I still see plenty of dissenter on shelves.

I had the Chocolate Raspberry Stout this summer as well and thought that is was not well balanced. The raspberry dominated the malt, and it seemed like a blend to me. That being said, I trust that Founders will get this one right before slapping a backstage label on it and charging $17 (likely a buck or two more at many stores)...

Yeah sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a ridiculous price. Not all of us are rolling in money. I'll pass on this one.
