I had a trade in February with Bartos I sent 2 Sucaba and 1 FW17. He sent 2 Lacto Guava and was supposed to send a third bottle (on par with the FW17) at a later date. He has not. I have reached out sever times and he refused to respond despite still posting ISOs. Not sure what else to do other than this. I can post the original thread if that’s helpful. Cheers
Well I answered my own question... it looks like you left him positive feedback already? I would not leave feedback at all on a trade that isn't completed. However, you always have the option to change the feedback you left him, which I personally might do if he owes you beer and is not responding.
I left the feedback after I received the first two bottles. I assumed the rest of the trade would happen.
That's kind of my point. I, personally, would never leave feedback until the trade is done. And in this situation, if he doesn't come through, I would change that feedback from positive to negative.
I was actually in the process of setting up an IP trade with him as well. As a matter of fact, it's got 2 lactos too. Keep us posted bud. GL
@JHE73 first off, let me apologize for the situation reaching this level. I had apparently selected to "ignore" you. This was not intentionally...not sure if I had clicked the wrong thing when attempting to "follow" you or if I had just screwed up and got you confused with someone else that I was trying to ignore (I obviously shouldn't BA after drinking). Please send me a new message. I know (and admit publicly) that I still own you a bottle. Last we talked, you had mentioned interest in BA Caffe Americana if I could get extras. I was still planning on sending you that, however CCB had issues with the online sale of the extra bottles and put it on hold. Have you tried calling him? There might be a system glitch where he's unable to message you through BA. I recently had that happen with someone I was discussing a trade with. Fortunately he gave me his email address. I had a trade with bartos in late July. It was as straightforward, smooth & easy as any transaction I've had. His demeanor throughout was professional, conscientious & courteous. His communication was exemplary & he shipped immediately. My good experience doesn't in any way negate your experience but given how opposite our experiences were, and his hastening here to address the situation, I don't believe he is deliberately ducking you, ignoring you, or misleading you. The name sounded familiar so I went digging through my messages & reviewed our communication. He wasn't just ok. He was completely on top of things. Please try to call or text in case he's unable to reach you through the BA system for some reason. I'm convinced there will be a happy resolution to this.
