CANBIF Fall 2014 - Hints and hauls

So it was tough not to crack open Electros' box while at work, but I managed to restrain myself. Here's the big, juicy contents for those that can't make out all the details. I've underlined some of the items that seem exciting to me.

All are new to me except for the Wellington (still can't go wrong with a RIS), including 8 new breweries! Big thanks to Chris for putting together an awesome box! Now that I have my first BIF under my belt, I'll need to spend a bit more time browsing the shelves whenever I go to New England. Hopefully the girlfriend shouldn't mind too much, as long as she gets to pick out a few for herself!

 

So no idea who has me yet but for those out west drop me a BM if you want to work out a separate trade so that I can try some Sartori. Even if I get one in the BIF it would be nice to share one with the local crew.

 

Happy I waited! Definitely a Sartori going into my box, which I'll ship out Wednesday morning. Will post oz/final hint then!

Got a bottle of Sartori today, sending my box out tonight or tomorrow. Covered 6 of my targets wants, hope he'll be happy!

 

So since Fondue had to bow out due to a newborn I have decided to pick up the mantle...homemade and pressure canned red pepper jelly.

 

Box dropped off at Canada Post a few minutes ago. Not sure yet exactly when it should arrive by, waiting for the tracking # to become active.

Hint for my target: I want to beer you like an animal.

 

Alright. 288oz packed up and ready to go. I'm almost positive everything is either a completely new tick or at least a new vintage (which, for my partner, seemed extremely hard from the off). Ticked a few wants, but that was even trickier.

Hint: If you cared to find out, you could already know I'm sending you this box.

 

Ha ha! She wanted the box more than the contents, I'm sure. Thanks again for the box, I have a couple of the beers in the fridge for later this week!

My target's box is out for delivery this morning, hopefully in one piece!

 

I was about to say you forgot the best part about that box (from your feline's point of view), the fact that its a cat trap!

 

Box is in the mail, but I had to leave out the 13th beer. I couldn't find a safe way to get it in there so I drank the Backwoods Bastard myself , but its Kentucky counterpart made it in safely. The box has a long way to go and will arrive, most likeley, sometime early next week.

Hint: My target should have been a geography major.

 

Box will be dropped off this afternoon!

Managed to squeeze a little swag on top of the 12 bottles.
Hopefully it will make the distance unharmed!

 

Update: My target will receive his box in one week. 6 Wants, and pretty much all of the rest should be new for him.

 

My box will be leaving tomorrow. I am sending to a city that I've sent to before in a previous CANBIF.

 

My box was dropped off for shipping today with FedEx. 218.0 ounces, hopefully all new to them!

 

I wish I could figure out who has me so I know about when my box will arrive. The office doesn't tell us when we have packages, and I have no patience.

I also sent my target a bottle of a certain anniversary beer from Canada's "Greatest" Brewery.
It's a style that you'd typically be foolish to age, but my friend at the Brewery told me that they recently opened a few aged bottles and were really happy with the results and felt that it had changed into a completely different beer...so I threw it in.
I forgot to include a little disclaimer in the box, but if aforementioned beer sucks, I'll be sure to make it up to my target in the future.
