Looks like I cheaped out on the shipping so my target might need to wait up to 8 days before he receives his box. Does it really take that long to go across Canada to a town that ends with a "y"?

Had to leave a bunch of bottles behind in DC that I won't get delivered for another few weeks, soooooo....hopefully I can round up enough bottles to ship before Monday. Might even grab a bottle from the LCBO for once.

And it's too bad for those still desparately trying to figure out who's sending to them, only took the first hint for me to figure it out.

My first CANBIF box has arrived, just before I could send mine out the door. Speaking of which it's now on it's way.. and the truck it's on is going to have to cover a lot of mileage! To think that this particular CANBIF covers coast to coast! Pretty awesome!

A very big thank you to @CaptainMurphy for sending a box of Nova Scotia goodness! Everything arrived safe and sound and I had to sit and wait on my trading partner for this trade @polloenfuego.

This is the awesome that arrived at my doorstep:

    Trappist Rochefort 8
Hell Bay Brewing Dark Cream Ale
    Propeller Revolution
    Garrison Honey Lavender
Boxing Rock Crafty Jack English Ale
Boxing Rock the Vicar's Cross DIPA
    Rare Bird Maple Ale
    Uncle Leo's Smoked Porter
    Garrison Imperial IPA
Bad Aple Barrel Aged black and Tackle
    Urchon, Brasserie Des Légendes
    Old Engine Oil

A couple of beers from my home country and the Engine Oil has been on my want list for a while!

Thanks for making my (our) first CANBIF an awesome experience!

Packed up and ready to go with 250 ounces plus...decided to take out a piece of glasswear so that I could fit in a BA winter beer...figured it would be worth it  Hopefully it will go out tomorrow.

Had to wait an extra day to ship but the box will finally be on its way tomorrow morning. I'll expedite, hoping it can arrive by Friday. Made a few last minute swaps and marginally upped the total amount of beer, 245oz of North American goodness.

I didn't know about the expedited option when using the cheap shipping method so yours will probably get there before mine will.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Of all the ones there the Bad Apple BA RIS is the most limited release, as it's already sold out. I'll probably start stocking up on BA releases in the hope that there's a spring BIF. Also, the Frosted Frog pint is from Maritime Beer Company which closed in 2000. Their beer wasn't great, but they sure did market that frog!

Now that the box is on its way, more hints:

-Only 11 of the 12 shipper slots are filled with beer but the last slot isn't filled with beer swag. It is still consumable. What could that be?
-Even though my target has a lot of ticks, 10/11 are brand new beers, with the last being a new vintage to him.
-Age of beers ranges from 2 days to 2 full years.
    -6 BC / 5 American Northwest

Alright, that's enough hints for now

Box has been shipped to the west containing 247oz. 11 of the 12 are local Ontario beers, so hopefully that meets the minimum requirements of % of local brews.

I would expect a Monday delivery.

Yesterday I came home to an excited wife who had pickup slips from Canada Post... She figured our Amazon order had come in with a one day turn around. I thought about and realized "CanBIF!!!!!". Picked this afternoon.

For the record, I am not an idiot... All the above terms were pluralized up there on purpose. I figured maybe it was 2 x 6 bottle Styro shippers. I get to the Post Office and almost throw out my back a 12 bottle shipper and another box that looks like it could hold 6 more! Holy CUSS!!

Open the 12 bottle shipper first and excited to see 4 Bellwoods caps. I know that's a great sign... Every single bottle I pull out looks fantastic, RISes, Bretted, hoppy... I don't know you Jay, but I would kiss you if I could!

Onto box 2... Box 2? Come on, you've got to be kidding me. This was way too much, awesome & generous already! The second box has a growler in it (first one I've got in transit, now I know better how to ship them! :sunglasses: ).

Here is the devastation. It would have killed my front stoop if it had been left there. This might be the thermo nuclear box of CanBIF Fall '14! Thanks!!!!!

So here they are L to R:
GLB Project X - Barney Dubbel (Cab Franc Barrel) YUM!

Caldera Mogli - Oak Aged Imp Porter - Never heard of them, sounds cool
Alesmith Speedway Stout - Been wanting this one!
Bellwoods Roman Candle - Mmmm.... HOPS!
    Bellwoods Bounty Hunter - Coconut!
    Bellwoods Donkey Venom - Brett!
Bellwoods No Rest For The Wicked - Brett!!
    Lavery Liopard Oir - BRETT!!!
Nickel Brook Winey Bastard - A RIS my wife says is named after me :flushed:
Allagash Curieux - BA Triple? YUM! Also (stunningly) my first Allagash!
Crooked Stave Vielle Artisanal Saison - BA again!
Indie Ale House Couch Surfer IPA - HOPPY HOPPY HOP HOP HOP!!!

As for my target... I have shipped this far East before, but never in a CanBIF. I also have never received a box form as far East as where you are in a CanBIF.

I also have a feeling I am sending (hopefully Friday morning) to your workplace rather than your home...

My box I think is ready. Need to pack it tonight, thankfully with a pile of Ziplocs I just got (thanks Jay!). Picked up the last beer today and need to chuck a couple home-brews to round it out. Likely my bronze medal winning Sour & Gold medal winning Whiskey Oak Aged RIS (which beat Half Pint's $ellout $tout - take that Dave! ) It will be 12 bottles, but I have no clue the total volume yet...
