    Hey all,

Im heading to Shaumburg on Thursday for my brothers bachelor party and wedding. I will be getting in early Thursday morning with about 4 hours to spare... so I was hoping to search around and grab some decent beers that I cannot get in Texas... Any fellow BAers on here who know that area could recommend bottle shops I should look up?! Or beers to try and find?! Thanks all!

The beer cellar in glen ellyn. Always a good selection of pipeworks. Most binnys carry the same selection.

Binny's or Foremost, definitely. Don't drive to Glen Ellyn when the previously listed two will have all the beers you need and much closer.

Binny's, Bell's, Sal's all have pretty solid offerings of craft beers...Lively has awesome stuff on hand as well. I think that's in Elk Grove which really isn't too far.

    Chicago stuff I'd recommend
    Revolution Anti-Hero (great hoppy IPA)
Half Acre Akari Shogun (American Wheat Pale Ale)
Half Acre Daisy Cutter (American Pale Ale)
Two Brother's Heavier Handed (Seasonally brewed IPA)

Pipeworks has some strange and crazy offerings. Quite expensive for bombers, excellent quality beers...but most are hit or miss with me. I either love them or dislike them.

Solemn Oath bombers are reasonable and can be found at most places...offerings are alight IMO. Good for the price for bombers usually $6.99. I liked Mr. Inappropriate and thought Kidnapped by Vikings was decent.

Not from Chicago but available at some places here...
3 Floyds Zombie Dust (Harder to find APA - Indiana LTD Disty)
3 Floyds Gumballhead (Hard to find... - Indiana LTD Disty)
Surly Furious (Very solid IPA - Minnesota LTD Disty)

3 Floyd's Alpha King can be found at most places along with a limited number of bomber offerings. I've found they've been more hard to come by lately with the growth of FFF.

Also for a quick pint or two after you've picked up your bottles, can check out Bigby's in Rolling Meadows which is literally 1/2 mile from Foremost mentioned above. They have a couple FFF on tap as well. Here is their current menu. Good luck.
