    Just got back from Ginger Man NYC a few minutes ago. Didn't snap any pics, which I should have, but such is life.

    Anyway, I went to try Velvet Merkin on tap, which I did, and it was excellent. Meanwhile, I overheard a few gentlemen, who were sitting a little ways down the bar, talking about beer. I was curious, so I insinuated myself into the conversation, and it turned out that one of the fellows is a distributor for Cigar City and Funky Buddha in Florida. He had brought a few bottles with him and generously offered to share with a few of us. Super cool of him - Claudio was his name, I believe. If you read this, Claudio, you're the man.

    Anyway, he opened a bottle of Muy Bonita, but it turned out to be infected, so he took out a Cigar City Brewer's Brunch Stout. Really interesting stuff, and perfectly drinkable for lunch at 6.8%.

    I'm drinking my last Santa Fe Brewing Co Imperial Java Stout that I brought to Germany last May.

    To do this brew proper justice, I am posting a photo I snapped on a mtb ride on the Aspen Vista Trail above Santa Fe, NM in Oct 2012.

    Afternoon! This fall weather inspired me to move on to an annual favorite...

    Probably one of my favorite pumpkin style beers... I don't favor many of them, but this captures enough spice while still hitting my "Bourbon button." And @ $7.99, why not?

    Yeah seen the Greater Pumpkin at my Local store and bunch of other Pumpkin beers, almost picked one up man to try never had one, maybe next time I needed something dark/stout/rich again been awhile haha, burnt out on all the lighter wheat,pale ale,Lager brews man haha
