One of the more psychedelic labels I've seen recently. I like it, and the beer is just as interesting and enjoyable.

Went on a hike yesterday with my athletes. While we do predominantly lifting at this time of year, I like to put in some solid days of cardio as well. Since we live on an island with a ton of great hikes, I figured why not? This was up the Wa'ahila Ridge. If anything, maybe it'll teach my athletes how great nature is and that a hike can be physically and mentally rewarding.

This was a nice sunset while cooking dinner. Even though I left my home and everything I've ever known for 34 years, I don't regret moving here at all. Other than the local breweries, this place is awesome.

Enjoyed Mehana's latest beer that was canned, Southern Cross. While I've tried 4 or 5 of their beers, for the most part they've been meh. This was something I would drink again. Hid the 8.2% very well, nicely balanced.

Both Ten FIDY and Hop Crisis never linger in my fridge. Well at least not Hop Crisis. Ten FIDY I could "accidentally" forget about. Hop Crisis is long gone before seeing it's two week anniversary.
    Cheers!

I always seem to go through 3/4 or 5/6 of the stuff that I don't pick up regularly. And then one day it's a crazy grab-bag line up of random beers I'm drinking.
Ten Fidy is my go-to big stout that I can find regularly. Trouble is the $16/4-pack means I don't tear through them.

    I'm back with another brew.

I'm not usually a fan of New Belgium's IPAs/DIPAs but this one is worthy of taking note.

Drinking this one at the moment!

It's Galaxy hops with Pungent Admiral hops. Yet Citra takes the back streets? Anyway still worthy and that body on the brew is up there.

    Blasting this!

Finishing the last of my @jzeilinger goodies while doing some packing. The label reminds me of this video for some strange reason. I swear this is my first beer today!

This is what I meant by Accidental forgetfulness. I can go right now and find some 2012 Ten FIDYs on the shelf. I think that's what keeps them on the shelf is that 15.99 price tag per four pack. You're from MD so you know what I mean.

Usually impressed with Stone's brews, but this one seems very thin and weak! Doesn't even come close to Dark Horse Too, my favorite cream stout. Hoping the XOCOVEZA in the fridge is way better.

Current Eths singer, Rachel Aspe, first drew some attention a coupla years ago:

A lot of them don't know what to make of her :stuck_out_tongue:, but she's totally killing it...

Here's her full cover of the song, which was what got her on the show...

It had a nice, frothy head I had to appreciate from a more topside viewpoint.

Gray, rainy day here in New England. I enjoyed an Otter Creek/Shed Mountain Ale at lunch; brand new tap for us. Not bad, but a little oversweet; it's called an English strong ale on here, and I can buy that.

I just opened up two fantastic, incredible boxes from generous BAs. There's nothing I want more than to dig right in to those, but I'm saving my senses for a Firestone Walker tasting + dinner tonight. Super psyched; four courses, each with a beer pairing, and one with a side-by-side. Dessert is accompanied by Double DBA.

If I don't make it back on tonight, BAs, I promise it's delicious, and...well, that Mountain Ale with lunch wasn't bad.

Just reviewed Troegs Perpetual IPA. Good stuff, gave it a 4.4. I'm so glad Troegs began distributing to NC. I have to drive 50 miles to get it (I'm in upstate SC), but combine that with others that SC doesn't get, such as Great Lakes and NoDa, and the Charlotte beer run becomes an every other month event...lol.
