Hello fellow ba members I am looking for a trader that would like to trade some some de garde for midwest beers in an ongoing relationship. I am happy to try and grab you whatever I can from out this way (oh/ky/in). If anyone's interested in helping out shoot me a pm and we can discuss. Thanks and cheers.

Near as I can tell, this sort of thing isn't prohibited. He's simply looking for a possible tradning partner, someone who has access to de Garde.

My interprestation of the TOS rules, admittedly, is fairly lax, but I don't see any kind of violation here.

Needless to say, anyone who does want to help this guy out, does so at their own risk.

Suggestion to OP... Post an ISO for De Garde. Make it a very recent release so the only bottles available are from locals. Maybe ask for other Portland beers as well. Send an extra nice box with plenty of extras. Then next De Garde release, ask the same person for some bottles. Rinse, and repeat. Before you know it, you've got a regular trading partner.

This should be the general approach for any in demand brewery, not just De Garde. A regular trading partner is earned, IMHO.

    ^^This.

Plus, when somebody asks for a regular trading partner (wherever it may be), that potential person has to ask "What do I get out of the deal?" Simply saying
it automatically sounds like the person asking gets the best deal. Infinite access to popular brewery> unnamed beer that MAY be obtainable.

Instead, say, "I have access to [enter brewery name] and go to [these brewery releases]. I have [these beers]FT right now and am currently ISO [these dG bottles]."

A GOOD trading partner relationship doesn't happen overnight. If it does, someone will definitely end up losing because somebody is trying to win.
