What beer are you drinking now? #706

Woke up at 5:30 to spend my day at New England Cullinary Institute over in VT.

Naturally, after driving all day and sitting in a classroom for 4 hours I felt obliged to sit in the local taproom with this beautiful little specimen.



Hill Farmstead- James. I've been dying to get my hands on some of their darker brews. Sadly, I have to say that I enjoyed Lagaunitas Nightmare a lot more.

Home now sipping this before another early day.



Stillwater - Existent. I've loved this beer since I got into craft. The way that the roasted malts tuck away the tiniest bits of acidity make for a really cool character. Coffee, vanilla, and bourbon; with just a hint of fruit.

 

I think we all got that; just couldn't resist pulling your leg, that's all.

 

Time to move on from the hops and crack open my first taste of Uncle Jacobs, picked up in Salida , Co. on our summer trip to Crested Butte.

Maybe last one tonight. Finally found some 2014 Ten Fidy in Nashville last weekend.

 

Friday night Chipotle with my two girls. I'm a big fan of Hop Nosh so looking forward to Detour.

 

The fact this holds up after my last 2 beers is a testament to the quality of this beer. The fact it's 15 days old don't hurt either . Happy Friday, fuckers.

I might have to goto Germany and taste everything they have to offer! Well, I can't afford that, so I'm going back to Max's for some more Eisbocks and Dunkels while they last!

Wet hopped, canned a week ago, and a portion of the proceeds goest directly to the Cleveland Metroparks Trails Fund. Wow, fantastic beer. Fat Head's really knows their hops! Thanks a lot @buschbeer !
