Have seen this on some tap lists and saw a picture of a can in Latest Haul. Is this something we're going to see released? or has been released?

I apologize if this has been covered already

To me it looks like they're experimenting with different kinds of barrels. Maybe they're trying different ones out and are going to release the best one in cans?

It seems sorta odd to me that Ten Fidy would still be 10.50% when it's barrel aged. Usually you see a rise in ABV with BAs.

Don't apologize. I'm curious about this too. I thought I heard something about a BA version a while back.

Canned, then barrel-aged. Brings some oaky-aluminum into the equation.

This is not how it works.

Ugg I hope so!! We had the supreme pleasure of trying the Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Aged version about a month back. We actually had it side-by-side with KBS, and after one sip it was clear which one was the better beer.

I'll bet that exploded the KBS. I'll drink Bulleit aged anything.

How much would a 4 pack cost? $35?

Was at the brewery when they released the Makers Mark and Appleton Rum barrel aged ones. Both were delicious, would love to see OB expand their barrel program and make this a regular thing. Though abv was the same both were far boozier imo then standard Ten Fidy.

Ten Fidy is one of my "go to" imperial stouts I would kill to see a nice bourbon barrel aged version in 4pack cans.

This. Ten Fidy is expensive as it is, BA would easily double the price

I had the Appleton Aged Ten Fidy the other day and it was epic. I had three different version of BA Old Chub which were fantastic also!!

$35 4 pk equates to a $16 bomber. I see BA bombers all around for 16 or more so imo $35 for a 4pk would be more than fair @ price per ounce.

I am going to start storing all the bottles of beer in my cellar in barrels. Then I can call them barrel-aged, too.

Had the pleasure of trying the Appleton Rum Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy recently. Phenomenal brew. Also had Bourbon Barrel, Sour Bourbon Barrel, and Tequila Barrel Old Chub, as well as Port Barrel Yella Pils and Double Date G'Rauch... all were amazing!

32oz Crowler is $25 at the brewery when they release it, and they are sold out the same day every time. I am not aware of any plans though for OB to expand their barrel program or can BA Ten FIDY.
