What's your favorite local Dunkel?

    I'm a huge Dunkel fan with one of my all time favorites being Pittsburgh's Pious Monk Dunkel, by Church Brew Works.

    Do your have a great Dunkel brewed near you?

    I stumbled upon Devil's Backbone "Old Virginia Dark" dark lager that was very good, but it had "Rare Series" printed on the label so I guess you might not be able to find it.

    I'm looking forward to getting some of the Sly Fox Dunkel this year- it should be released as a winter seasonal.

    Prost Dunkel and Olde Mecklenburg Dunkel (which I liked better).

    I love Heater Allen's Dunkle, you really can't go wrong with anything they make. I also enjoyed Rivertown's Dunkel Lager.

    Queen City Brewing in Burlington, VT makes the best dunkel I've had from the US.

    Neshaminy Creek Punkless Dunkel, without a doubt, is the best I've had. It's subtle, but highlights the pumpkin very well.

    In a wee bit of a humblebrag, my favorite Dunkel is made by my friends at Chuckanut Brewery. Oh, look who just won a Gold medal at GABF in the style! :wink:
