I feel like I've been away from WBAYDN for ages. A trip to Bend earlier this week (I finally made the pilgrimage!) yielded a new Deschutes tulip which I've chosen to fill with the 21st Amendment/Elysian collaboration He Said Tripel.

Happy Saturday! Still cleaning out the beer fridge. Started by splitting a Ballantine IPA with my wife. First and last I will have. At the same price, Harpoon IPA is much, much better.

Then my last Zombie Dust from a trade, before it fades. Delicious. Amazing pineapple smells and flavors.

Then thought I would try a Robert The Bruce from the same trade. Really loving this. Beats Old Chub. Look at that color!

I had a sample of Pilot No. 12 Fall Harvest Saison while getting a growler fill at Austin Street.

Now I'm home and thoroughly enjoying the 32 oz growler of Trillium Speed Mettle I brought home last night. This is every bit as good as (if not better than) Sucks, Enjoy By, etc.

Drinking a Resurrection from Backlash, wonderful flavors, coffee, chocolate, some underlying fruit, dark and foreboding, like the label. Smooth yet bold like an excellent stout should taste like. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a nice coffee stout. CHEERS!

I didn't expect to taste the cocoa, coffee, peppers, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg each in their entirety. This is very well executed...

Well KU fired Charlie Weiss making him the highest paid do nothing in college football. Wish I could make 4.9 mil sitting on my fat ass, and watching football from the comfort of my home. I still believe we will get a conference win this year. Anyway this beer is for you Coach Weiss.

It was good, but i found it to be a little too sweet for a Coffee Stout.

This smells amazing. The taste is not quite on the same par, but for 4.7%, there's a bunch of flavor here.
Garth Snow getting me two quality D-men in the past hour for not so much makes me very happy. Although, Pokka should be a good player.
