    Plans were big timed changed today; both son's baseball games postponed due to rain. :slight_frown: So the wife took my daughter out shopping; nice and quiet for most of the day. :grinning:
    Went to our Fire Dept.'s open house today as a Medivac helicopter landed there.

    Just made up a dinner for myself (infamous "make your own dinner" night at mah house) on the fly with what was in the freezer...

    That's pierogies sauteed in olive oil with minced garlic, then some tomato sauce and parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper thrown in with some cooked shrimp. Wasn't sure how it would turn out...It was fricken damn tasty!!

    Just knocked back a New Holland 'The Carhartt Woodsman' APA and now work on a Firestone Walker 'Velvet Merlin' (I'll save the 'Velvet Merkin' for another day...) while holed up deep within the 'Fortress of Solitude', listening to the Miles Davis "At the Fillmore" CD...



    (the video isn't Fillmore, but the performance is around the same time frame)

    Vacationed the past week in the OBX. Really disappointed I missed out on the Outer Banks Brewing Station. Sampled several beers from Full Moon Brewery in Manteo, NC. (Please, check it out.) Saw some OBBS brews for sale at Chip's but did not want to cough up $6 for a 16 oz. can or $8+ for a small bottle of aged brew. Anyhow, picked these up on the way home in Greensboro at Bestway.

    I was expecting more from the Dark Penance. However, it's tasty. I will definitely pick it up again. Hop Drop N Roll is delicious, as usual. No, I did not blend the two!
