I don't see how we could call this conspiracy: To make that case, you'd have to suggest that the retailer purposely conspired to violate a part of the code, i.e "requiring a retailer to purchase one product in order to be allowed to purchase" at which point, since the retailer actually wants that state of affairs, they are no longer being "required" by the distro, they are in fact just ordering the additional product.

That is to say, you cannot conspire against yourself.

Thus, if the distro did indeed require it, that's against the code; if the retailer then passes that on to the consumer, that's not against the code.

This was my thought. My bottle is sitting next to my Ken Griffey Jr. Upper Deck rookie card.

I really enjoyed it. Had it in the beer fridge and started consuming at 55 F. At that temp, it was delicious chocolatey coffee with a nice sweet spice throughout. As it warmed up the rum was more pronounced. Damn good offering from Prairie.

This beer was fuckin' good. The rum accentuates the coffee and spices. As it warms the rum becomes more pronounced but is still a bit muted, which I really liked. Normally the rum takes over in other rum BA beers I've tried.

That's surprising but my mistake as well. I had no source from TABC, but I used to do marketing and events at bars and restaurants. I know we were explicitly told by the lawyer we could not run any promotions where pricing or products were used to induce sales. I wrongly assumed this would apply to off-premise as well.

Did anyone who looked the regulations up see a distinction between off and on-premise? I'd have no clue how anyone would be expected to follow rules about this situation when it only outlines this between wholesaler and retailer.

I should note that I have seen a couple of bars say to get a bishop barrel to-go, you must first purchase one to consume on site.

    Just saying.
