I guess that won't be too terrible. Especially when the 6 packs cost upwards of $14 around here.

Well that’s nice and all that, but my annual case of NN never lasts long enough for cans to make any difference to my storage and/consumption.

Despite this being my biggest pet peeve I'll humor you. You do realize the price per ounce is less on cans right?

    Troegenator 6pk of 12oz bottles = 72oz
$10.99 retail price of Troegenator 6pk bottles
    $10.99 / 72oz = $.152/oz

    Troegenator 4pk of 16 oz cans = 64oz
$7.99 retail price of Troegenator 4pk cans
    $7.99 / 64oz = $.124/oz

I'm pretty damn pumped about this switch to cans. Love me some hoppy brew in a can. Easily my favorite current craft beer trend.

Which makes me sad that Sixpoint switched to 12 oz.

Granted the RADs are 16 oz....

I can now safely kayak on my local frozen lakes in January with NN available in cans....it was the only thing that held me back from doing this all these years.

Wow where do you live in PA? $12.99 here in NYC. And some bars charge $7 for a single bottle!!!

Ah sorry that's for a 6 pack of bottles. Haven't seen the cans in the stores yet, but there is one NYC restaurant on beermenus that is selling the cans for $7 a piece!

Lots of discussion regarding pricing and some folks stating things like: “It's a reference point on how Troegs does their pricing.”

Just a friendly reminder that it is up to each individual beer retailer to establish the price of beer.

I have no idea how my local retailers will price 4-packs of 16 ounce cans of Nugget Nectar.

I can report that several of my local beer retailers ‘take advantage’ of the Victory 4-packs of 12 ounce bottles pricing them around 10 bucks; that ‘translates’ to a 6-pack price of about 15 bucks. Ridiculous pricing!

    Cheers!
