    Prairie takeover at saints pub in okc. Nitro bomb! for the first beer. Creamy and absolutely amazing .

    Prairie hop for the second beer. Great tropical hop flavors and very mild "funky" yeast. More of an ipa than a saison, and thats fine with me.

    So far this week, the score is 2 days fishing and 2 days working. Pretty good. To balance it out, tomorrow is a golf tourney. So, I'm going to go through 3-4 of these tonight...

    Just sippin on some homebrews at the moment

    American stout I brewed earlier this year that got state comp gold. Glad I still got a case and a half of it left.

    Munich Helles I tapped last week. Man is this delicious. I did 100% RO water building and it made all the difference to get me the perfect water for taste and mouthfeel. Super crisp, balanced, and flavorful.

    Got this one in a trade. Cold enough outside for me to enjoy it. Plus I dont have to work tomorrow.

    Very good. Gingerbread Stout from Hardywood. Diggin this one.

    Post-work Mayflower Porter, Malted Barley

    I'm not a homer for Grey Sail, a local (~15 min from my house) brewery in Rhode Island. I do, however, really love their Flying Jenny EPA, and I like to try their other brews from time to time. They had a release tonight for their first DIPA. I enjoyed it too much to take a picture, but I did pick up a couple of howlers, and it came in this open-top can.

    It was really, really good, too. Obviously nice and hoppy, but a solid malt base, and an impressively smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The pint glass was courtesy of my last trip: back to the Malted Barley for their post-release event.

    Pumpkin in the Rye Ale, Cask, Malted Barley

    Yes, it's a pumpkin rye ale. It's surprisingly hoppy, actually, with a nice rye spiciness, but I didn't get much pumpkin at all. That may be slightly due to the DIPA I had about 30 minutes prior. :wink:

    Well, if there's one thing I know about palate fatigue, it's that you can punch that sucker right in the taste buds with a big enough stout. If you're going to have a nightcap, make it a good one.

    The Whole Foods nearby (which I avoid like the plague, oy) had Sucks for some reason. Not exactly fresh, but still SOOO tasty!
