Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

Beer truck chasing in this city is out of control. Also, I can't wait for the obligatory "this {currently hyped} Pipeworks beer isn't that good" next year with the new hop contracts and when they are at 100% with the new expansion and these are easier to find.

 

I need to quit drinking.. The disappointment in missing out on some beers is killing me

Stop chasing then, and just drink 4 packs of Heyoka, Anti-Hero, Daisy Cutter or any other awesome beer you can get on the shelf. Your life and stress levels will thank you.

 

is chasing beer really that stressful... ? You guys know beer is meant to releive stress. Not add to it.

 

I've seen people sprinting into Binny's with sheer panic on their face trying to pick up the latest shipment of a limited release, so yes, for some it causes great stress.

Heyoka went just slightly slower than the Pipeworks at the place I frequent. Damn good beer, but I heard they have pretty limited supply as opposed to Daisy Cutter and Anti-Hero; which I can pick up just about anywhere...I mean I've even seen Anti-Hero at Walgreens.

 

I have picked up Anti-hero at Walgreens out by me for $6.99... Now that's awesome !

Not that you need one, but if anyone is looking for a reason to crack open a bottle of Over the Line, The Big Lebowski is currently airing on IFC.

 

Then they are doing something wrong.

 

I watched the guy in front of me grab the last bottles of Sq Grouper and Over the Line and I was like 'shit' and went back home and drank two of the twenty four Breakfast Stouts I have in my fridge currently. It's great when you get a bottle or two of those really good, rare beers, but it's not like there's ever a lack of good beer available. And with PW, there's always a good beer on the horizon.

 

@NOTpipeworks @Pipeworks and just in case @paintbomb - Over the Line is Out of this World. So velvety smooth with all the bourbon character but without the bourbon bite. Also just realized according to BA its the strongest ABV beer you've put out but it's so well masked....outstanding job on this one.

 

I walk in pretty calmly, although I suppose I might run if I had ever experienced someone jumping in front of me at the last second and snagging the last bottle

 

I'm not PR, but I did grow up in Humboldt Park and even though it was pretty rough, I loved the hood. I'll be looking forward to this one, too.

I had fun with Cinnamon Beer D-os. i wish it was a bit sweeter with some more cinnamon in there.
Reaper was good as well.

 

As you wish... was pretty solid. Don't sleep on it. Perfect fresh.

Over the line was good but too boozy upfront. 2-3 months on it and it'll be perfect.
