    My self imposed football season rules. Things get kind of crazy Sat-Mon. I dont always follow the rules though. Also, weekdays are for bourbon. :grinning:

    well the bourbon was more pronounced fresh, it has begun to take on a "twang" that is the bourbon has blended with the body. Like I said it is not a bad one to drink but far from perfect right now. Who knows this one could drink like water in a year.

    If I could jump in on this one ... Insanity drinks pretty well fresh and even better with some age on it. The 2013 batch has some weird off flavor issue and unfortunately aging won't correct that.

    Hey mbeerdino, large respect for that JF track .... not what I expected and glad you posted ..... while we're at that trough, I have to remember Hillel as well .... what could have been .....

    On to the current .... crisp fall darkness + baseball = simple dark lager w/brown-sugary notes, I'll take it

    I can now, technically, say this is a local beer. Still doesn't sound right.
    Check out the location on the bottom of the can... and the glass.
    I do need to get my hands on an Oscar Blues snifter to properly enjoy this beer though.
