    It's a beautifully shitty day here in Jersey but I could really give two shits. Got the biscuits in the oven for the Taylor Ham, egg & cheese, a kickass college football lineup on the horizon, and this liquid perfection in my glass. Life is good. Cheers.

    the grey monday was incredible! like drinking nutella with bourbon. better as the mocha imo.

    We haven't had a frost yet, so the garden is still producing tomatoes. I'm preparing for a morning of yard work with a tomato and avocado sandwich, and drinking this Oktoberfest.

    It is quite chilly out there this morning. I hope it warms up soon because I'm leaving for Gneiss Brewing's One Year of Beer party in about an hour. I've never had any of their beers so I'm looking forward to a good day of music, food, and new beer. But first I'm having a 'Gansett Autocrat and a pecan log from a local bakery.

    I just spent two weeks in Washington DC where the best beer I found (aside from Lefthand's Nitro) was this one... note the distinctive lack of stupid over the top label art and some lame juvenile name?

    But I got back in Germany this morning after a 12 hr long trip and thank god...!! Finally some delicious Oktoberfest bier and half a Knusprige Hähnchen (crispy chicken) from the mobile grill outside the grocery store.
