Looks like something I want to try...side note - clown shoe's labels are sort of silly but the art work seems so much more sophisticated/advanced than most labels...wonder why so many breweries still have crappy looking labels. Does clown shoes just care more/pay more to get higher quality or what?

I can't speak to what other breweries pay for art since I have only done labels for Clown Shoes. Our brand makes it pretty easy and fun to come up with art. I've had some pretty funny conversations with my boss while brainstorming ideas. I was originally contacted by them for just freelance jobs and eventually brought on as full time artist/graphic designer. Guess a good work ethic and communication skills go a long way. Can't complain at all really, I get to create crazy fun labels that people seem to enjoy... for the most part anyway (lol).

Keep on keeping on man! I've loved them all! If someone doesn't like them chances are they might not have a sense of humor...or like epic things.

I've had Vampire Slayer and Blaecorn Unidragon and was not disappointed with either. Haven't heard any negative complaints on here or from other beer geek friends, so they are definitely doing something right!
I think any of the negativity that they get comes from their name; however there is no discounting their label art is awesome and does it's job of catching your eye, which is more than 1/2 the battle in making someone want to buy it; the quality of their product brings you back for more.
    Keep it up Clown Shoes!

If you can find a bottle, try Hammer of the Holy, Luchador en Fuego or Very Angry Beast. All unique and excellent barrel aged stouts.

Coming along great. The response to two of the beers we will be mixing has been phenomenal (Exorcism at Sunset and Itasca Loonidragon). The Hammer of the Holy that will be blended into the mix is also tasting really well, as we reconditioned the barrels with aged Clement Rum. And yes, this will start shipping out in November, as we will blend in two waves, starting next week.

You have no idea how excited I am for this. Exorcism is one of the best stouts I've ever had just by itself. To blend it with two other beers....homerdrooling.jpg

So glad Boston finally has attainable world class stouts. Thank you Clown Shoes!

How about in Ocean County? I'm assuming you either can't say specifics or don't know specifics. Either way, thanks for responding!

I have a feeling that if you get clown shoes distribution, then you will probably see this
