For the beer drinker that still insists on drinking like a sea-salted pirate in the cold, Founders has brewed you a kettle..

Good early afternoon BAs! Today's selection is this from Weyerbacher:

There is a certain amount of chill haze which clears up after some warming. According to BA, this was brewed once and the first review is Jan 2013 so is this really 22 months old? Since Weyerbacher (and many other brewers) can't be bothered dating their bottles, caveat emptor! Even so, it's still not too bad.

I'm guessing you're not talking about the Bigfoot warming you up.

Well I reached 300 beers. It wasn't so easy to reach that number living in Israel. I decided to try a new style (Kellerbier) and added a new beer to BA in the process. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/6143/141406/

Unfiltered and unpasturized lager. Could have sworn I was drinking an ale. Looks like an ale. A nice natural tasting lager with a bold hop presence and a yeasty/grassy taste and aroma. Lovely.

Awesome to see your work again. That octopus is the sickest bottle opener I have ever seen.

Tonight it will be a Dirt Wolf. Time to move away from the Vermont kick, but let's stay with an IPA.

Another Kellerbier although this seems to have been filtered or at the very least cleared.
Not the same creature as the Zoigl. That Zoigl was awesome. The type of beer I wish I could brew.

Just reviewed New Planet's Raspberry Ale - the lowest sore I've ever given - 1.4. Thank God I only bought a single and half of it went down the drain. It tastes like poorly compounded raspberry flavored medicine.

Enjoying a real treat this afternoon. Been waiting to get my hands on this since I 1st heard about it a few years ago. Finally got my hands on a bottle. Heard some negative feedback on this one, but im enjoying it very much.

Finally tried the Ommegang GoT Valar Morghulis. Not sure I would have classified it as a dubbel. I didn't get the usual banana/clover.. It tasted more like a pedestrian red ale to me. Having said that, I love GoT so I'll let it go.

    Finally..DFH 120.. always a solid draft choice.
