Welcome! As many above, check the BA style lists. There's a host of info available on BA and it'll take time to digest it all. Nationwide, Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum is decent and readily available. After that, kind of depends on where you're located.

Try visiting your local craft beer store. Print out a list from BA of the top 100 DIPA's and take it with you. See what they have that's fairly fresh in stock. If all else fails ask the guy behind the counter.

OP, I can assure you you're not going to enjoy double IPA's......yet.
    You'll be disappointed.
I find the hoppiness in a high IBU DIPA are overwhelmed by the malts & alcohols.

Best finding a well hopped and balanced IPA (coz SA Rebel sucks)

    Welcome aboard.

    Tips:

    1. Develop a thick skin and stick around.
    2. Explore the resources available on the site - pretty amazing stuff. As others have said, look under the Beers link http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/style/140/ and you can find what you are seeking in any style.
    3. Seek-a-brew can help you find what is in your area. http://www.seekabrew.com/distro/index.html

What @turbotype said IBU - it does not truly correlate to the overall bitterness. While it is a measure of the bittering compounds, but the perception of that bitterness is affected by other factors, so it isn't an exact correlation. Look for info on the home brewing forum. Or a basic primer here: http://www.popsci.com/science/artic...rsci-how-do-we-measure-the-bitterness-of-beer And there are better explanations, but I found this one first.

Founder's Double trouble if you can still find it around. Intense hoppy bitterness, but light bodied and very drinkable. Great beer, but the label is creapy as hell.
