how did toronado SF announce the release in the past? twitter?

 

Their social media team released the info simultaneously on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and their website.


Seriously, do you guys do even 30 seconds of research about Toronado before asking these questions?

I did. Their facebook doesn't seem to update all that frequently, and on last oct 17 they only retweeted a lost abbey tweet. Just curious if that was the official announcement or if they were just RTing a cool pic from Tomme.
Googling for info on cable car releases just points you to this forum and their social media.

Next time you go there, speak to a bartender and ask to be put on their email list for future events. Then, they will send you an email reminder usually a few days before they release the beer.

 

I got lucky earlier this summer. I went to Toronado in SD with the purpose of tasting a 2013 cable car and they didn't have any in the fridge. I told the bartender that I drove all the way from LA hoping to try it and she said she would see if she could get one from the back. She came back with two bottles and we paid 60 bucks for a bottle. It was great to finally try it but I honestly don't think I'd pay 60 for it again. I heard earlier vintages are better though but I wasn't super impressed with the 13.

 

If it is a very large Pacific Islander, tell him "Yelp rules."

 

No info on '14 CC as of right now. Keene Idea on tap was a pleasant surprise though.

 

Went to Toronado 2 days in a row. I heard the bartenders were asses there but I found them to be very nice. Spent some time talking with him. Tried to get a Cable Car but he told me they had none but may get some in the next couple of weeks but was just not sure. It was my 58th birthday and he told me that if he had some in the back he would definitely sell me one but that they just do not have any right now.

 

Which Toro? Or do both locations always get the same amount at the same time each year?
