This is one of my new "go-to's". Cheaper than ten-fidy, higher ABV, and just better overall.

Thanks for the tips. I couldn't find any ten fiddy (the highest vote getter) at any of my local stores, but I was able to pick up a bomber of Yeti and going to crack it open as soon as I get the kids asleep. I think I have a distro. bead on 10/50 so I am going to try that ASAP.

    Thanks for all your help!

Fat Dog stout, Kalamazoo stout, old engine oil, Tiny, Stones Russian Imperial, Old Heathen, Yeti....espresso and non espresso versions, two brothers imperial stout, Arcadia imperial stout. All wonderful. Too many to name. LOVE STOUTS. Can't help it! The drink I enjoy when not having black rich coffee.

Yeti is meaty beefy big and bouncy. You'll love it! See if you can find the espresso version.

Ten Fidy...the "milkshake" beer that's actually more expensive than a real milkshake.

Having a Yeti right now. Wow, pretty good. This stuff clings to the side of your glass as you drink it. Good call, BA community.

Pretty Things Barbapapa. You have to swallow 3 times just to get it down! I hope they make it again this year!

Ten Fidy is awesome, but Narwhal is damn near as (if not as) good and half the price. You might also be able to find Brooklyns' Black Chocolate which is possibly better. I say possibly because I've only had two one was almost perfect the second went bad and ended up being a drain pour.

As far as thicky-thick goes, I'd say Founders RIS. You can honestly pour the bottle and hold it upside down for a minute and it will continue to drip. That being said, taste wise there are at least a handful that I would put a head of it.

i got a four pack of ten fiddy today... $15... damn. I also got a bomber of Doris Imperial Stout from Hoppin Frog. Looking forward to trying them... but my wallet tells me I may not be able to afford the "Thick" stout lifestyle.

Just cracked open a can of Ten Fidy. Good... I don't know if it is $4 a can good... but pretty darn close. So far, Founders RIS and Hoppin Frog is still in the lead. Second the thoughts on Old Rasputin, forgot to mention that one in OP, but it is real good and affordable.
Thanks to all the BA community for your suggestions.
