    Today has been a good day - Started by having lunch at Schmidt's and having their beer sampler.

    Then ran up to Weilands and grabbed a few brews -

    I bought the SA Summer sampler, and the first two have been pretty good. I love the shit out of the East-West Kolsch, and I normally hate Kolschs. Im gonna crack this one here very soon:

    After finishing a can of Wyoming Pale Ale, I'm about to open a The Abyss 2010 to see how it's getting on.

    And...it is divine! I used my Kobalt bottle opener and took the wax and cap off on first try. :slight_smile:

    I'm a teacher, and their are two and a half days left in school. I could wait until Friday to open this (Brewmaster's Grand Cru), but I've been eyeing this in my fridge since last week. Besides, I showed the France vs. England Euro's during class yesterday as part of a lesson on United States allies during WWI and WWII. Yeah, I'd say I'm pretty much done. Cheers!

    Sharing a fresh garden salad with tofu and some baked/salted sweet potato fries with me lady....and having a way-out-of-prime Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, but it's simply OUTSTANDING with the sweet potatoes.

    Making up for my lack of carnivorous protein tomorrow with some grilled beef tenderloins.

    EDIT: It's the best pumpkin ale I've had...out of about 10. Whoever sent this to me way back in a trade...I owe you a stellar local! :-)

    I watched soccer for the last two days during a mandatory workshop on literacy. i teach PE. yea i aint using literacy in my classroom. So i caught up on the games i missed or slept through.
