Enjoyed a few Pipeworks beers with my bro-in-law today:

Pipeworks/4 Hands Square Grouper DIPA with Honey. One of the best, if not the best, Double IPA I've ever had. Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops provide notes of dank tropical fruit, citrus peel, and some pine sap. The sweetness of the honey keeps the bitterness in check. For 9.5% abv, no alcohol to taste. Just straight tropical fruit juice on the finish. This definitely lives up to the hype.

Pipeworks Reaper vs. Unicorn American Rye Barleywine. This is more of a Double IPA, but a very balanced one. Nice rich carmel and toffee from the malt blend with the spicy rye very well. The American hops add grapefruit, some orange, and some resinous pine. Delicious stuff!

I am now drinking a Zombiedust to cap off the day. Straight Citra hop goodness as always!

You guys are in our thoughts, here at our house. Sending good vibrations and prayers your way.

As far as the beers go , well sir, I am glad you've enjoyed them! Especially the Chocolate Milk Stout by 4 Hands. And if I recall correctly, you've been very, very good to me as well! That's what it's all about, sharing great beer with great people ... and you're one of the best!

The first three seconds of this song alone get me out of my funk and the head banging!

Isn't any trip to the in-laws "average"?
How you weren't hammered at this point is beyond me!

Seriously, do you have Dragon and your're talking this and the program is posting on BA? You've got to be hammered...and bloated.

Beach Brewing Co. Hoptopus Double IPA, ironically a west coast-style IPA made by a VERY east coast brewery (any easter and it'd be in the ocean).

This has been sitting in the back of my fridge for far too long. Might be my favorite beer from them and perfect for this chilly night.
