Are there any new breweries in Orlando? Outside of Orlando Brewing, I'm not aware of any. Thanks!

They're not new, but Cask and Larder is a brewpub in Winter Park and Shipyard has a location with brewpub in Orlando. I think Orangle Blossom Pilsner is also in Orlando but I don't know if they have a tasting room. Cask and Larder makes some good beers and the food is great. Shipyard feels kind of like a chain brewpub, but they'll have 10+ Shipyard beers on tap at any given time.

Shipyard in Winter Park closed its doors. They still have Sea Dog out near Disney, though.

Yep Shipyard Closed down and Frank N Steins is taking over their space in the coming months.

Cask & Larder has had some solid brews on the menu lately and the food is to die for.

Sea Dog, that's the one! Not sure why I got those two confused. Maybe the nautical theme?

There's a brewery called Ten 10 Brewing Company opening on Virginia near Mills. Apparently, they'll be starting with Cycle's old brewing system.

Last time my wife and I were at Redlight Redlight's new location, they have a small (homebrew) sytem on the 2nd floor that they brew on, and if memory serves me correctly, they said they put that their in-house brew on tap once or twice a week. Only other brewery i know is Orlando and Cask & Larder.

This link may offer some others... http://www.orlandobeerguide.com/breweriesbrew-pubs.html

10 Brewing should be opening up in the near future (Virginia and Mills)
Cask and Larder is open and they offer a variety of brews that are brewed in house.
Redlight Redlight does have one of their home-brews on tap most of the time and they are great.
Orlando Brewing is open and has been open for a few years.
Persimmon Hollow in Deland (30 miles away from Orlando) should be opening up very soon.
Hourglass is in Longwood and recently moved to a bigger spot.

Any updates on dead lizard? Had some of their brews at Oblivion a while back and was impressed.

Crooked Can Brewing should be opening in Downtown Winter Garden by Saint Patricks day with a tasting room.

Hourglass hasn't moved yet, they are in the process of building out their new location. It's essentially across the street from their current spot. The new space will have two restaurants incorporated into their taproom.

Hourglass has unofficially opened in their new location: 480 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood. According to their Facebook page, they haven't started brewing with the new system yet, but they have a few of their beers on tap that were brewed at the old location, along with a bunch of guest taps. I think they said they'll eventually have up to 40 taps. For food, Papa Bees (a buffalo wing restaurant) and Wako Taco will be opening next door.

Persimmon Hollow in Deland is now open, according to their site. I'm going to stop by one day after work since I work up that way. Thurs/Friday - 4pm-Midnight, Sat - noon to midnight and Sunday - noon to 9pm

Man, that isn't a lot of breweries considering the size of Orlando.... I'm surprised.

As an Orlando resident, let me testify that your statement couldn't be more true. More important is the lack of a single really good brewery, especially now that Ron has left Cask and Larder. There are about a dozen breweries in Tampa that would be the kings of the mountain here if relocated here in Otown. Orlando is a truly untapped market for someone.
