Will the beer be available in other markets not hosting a Black Friday event?

Of course. They usually have limited amounts of special vintage stuff at the actual events, but nothing else is special about hosting an event.

Last year's awesome glassware, screen print and a sample of the coffee they used for BCBCS would like to have a word with you.

They also had previous year's vintages like Cherry Rye.

It's going to suck not having these events in Austin this year.

If this is true, I'll be extremely disappointed, I mean yeah.. last year would have been somewhat considered a disappointment, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that a year has made Austin more and more hoardy... so they would have been happy with a turnout this year.

This is awesome, and I think it's cool to have the event(s) in different cities annually. Glad it's my city's chance to shine. Look forward to meeting BAs from across the state that hopefully can make the trek- besides the whole state has been descending on Austin monthly since March. It'll be good for ya'll to get out... Let me know and maybe we can set up a mini share.

If anyone is going to Untapped fest in Dallas Nov 1st, they're saying they'll have 2014 BCBS and 2014 BCBCS

Looking at the GI website, they show the event starting at 9AM, which I didn't think they could open a liquor store until 10. Also there is an event at Goodfriend that Wednesday where they say "Get your hands on this year’s Bourbon County Brand Stout Variants!"

For confirmation's sake - the Friday event will be at the Spec's over there off of Walnut Hill and 75? I don't travel much up 75 for my beer needs, but Spec's is all that's over there...

Anyone know why they give vague "corner of" location and not physical address?

the specs is right off the highway. You can exit Walnut Hill and quickly dart across to turn right or exit before walnut hill and turn right into the back on the side entrance. Total wine and whole foods very close also.

yeah the "corner of" is weird, but i'm sure they'll updated it closer to the event

Yep, I would bet they clear it up a little as we get closer, but it still doesn't really address the fact that neither place is allowed to open until 10AM.

Whole Foods is really close to there and they're allowed to open early. Does it actually say Specs anywhere? Or are we just assuming that?
