Still have 2 bottles from last year, and I'm really looking forward to doing a 2 year vertical! Really love this beer!

This just showed up in Akron, Ohio today (from what I have seen). Batch bottled on 9/30. $14 a four pack. More expensive than I was expecting (maybe the store, but doubtful).

The breakfast stout ranks #2 on my stout list. 2nd to only Southern Tier Choklate. It's a great stout at any time of day. Cheers mates.

Yes! Very much so. And it probably won't show up in VA until late November.

Harvest still really good, but the difference between it being two weeks and four weeks old is pretty massive imho, even when refrigerated. such is the case with a quality wet hopped brew :grinning:

Yeah, that's a real bummer when your city doesn't get it until 3 weeks after its bottle date! Still really good though, yes.

I got Breakfast Stout a week or two after other people in this thread and I'm paying about $10-11 a four-pack. People elsewhere can get it for as low as $9, I believe.

Dark Penance is good but a lot more brutally bitter than I expected. Huge mouth-coating resin on that one.

Haven't seen Backwoods Bastard in the DC area yet.

It's $14 otd at Founder's, so looks like the price jumped $2/4pack. Still worth grabbing a few 4 packs IMO.

I have managed to get three bottles of Harvest, better than nothing though. I did not like Dark Penance at all, but the deliciousness of Harvest more than made up for it.

U just haven't tried enough porters and stouts yet. Keep trying more and eventually u can revisit both and realize damn, there is a big difference. Mouthfeel and huge coffee presence in breakfast stout being the 2 big ones.

I have got all of them, except the Mosaic Promise, I guess because it didn't come out around here, honestly, it just sounds alright, and is just for the true fanatics of Founder's. As for the rest, they are all spectacular!
