Got word today that Antonius is likely not hitting distribution, which is disappointing.

 

They posted on the event page that this one wasn't hitting distribution. That was the only time I've seen that.

 

It definitely isn't hitting distro. They posted it before the event happened and said it during the release. If any were leftover, they would be sold in the taproom only.

 

1 case limit.

 

For BA Tweak?

Also looks like it's hitting full distro with the list of states where it's going that they added to the event.

BA and non-BA are both so great although I also wish that they would continue to brew and keg non-BA Tweak. It's coffee-tastic when fresh.

 

I'm excited to try the BA version, and glad it will hit full distro! Had the non-BA version at a beer festival in NC awhile back and was blown away. Is the coffee still very present in the BA version?

 

That list is pretty interesting...but probably not too shocking.

Anywhoo, I also hope the non-BA Tweak lives on. It's a different animal and one that's equally good.

 

How early will people be in line for this? My friends and I are thinking of getting in line and bringing bottles to share but I don't know what time that would be

 

They open at 11am so I'm guessing people will be there then. With the number of cases available I don't think it will be a big rush to get in line for a lot of people

I have to admit, I really like non-BA Tweak a lot more. I'll be buying a few of these still of course.

Not much talk about this year's Rumpkin on here. I'm not sure if it's just me not remember last year's, but I was pretty blown away with it this year (even with really high expectations).

 

Have they had BA Tweak on tap before? Not sure why everyone keeps saying they prefer the non BA version before even trying it. I think Avery's BA program is one of the strongest in the nation and I have faith that the BA version with add a complexity to an already amazing beer making it even better which I think is one of the things Avery does best.

BA Tweak has appeared on tap a few times. No clue if it's the same as what will be in the bottles, though.
For instance, they've had a few different BA Czars over the years and they aren't the same as UJ.
