Scientists Develop Beer That Doesn't Give You A Hangover

There's money someone will never get back funding shit everyone already knew.

 

There should be more funding comparing liver/gallbladder functions among various people to develop this "magic hangover cure". I get what I call "hang-unders" where I will wake up with a headache after 4 or 5 (normal abv) beers. Meanwhile my wife can drink to the point of not being able to walk under her own power and still wants to go for a nice run the next morning. She has never gotten a true hangover. <---I HATE that.

 

Or you can be lucky like me and not get hangovers, regardless of what/how much is consumed

My wife is not a big drinker - but don't take that to mean she hasn't done her fair share of it - and yeah, same here. She just doesn't even know what it's like to have one.

 

My brother drinks a case of Bud and doesn't get a hangover. I don't know how. 3 or 4 buds and I get a headache.

 

The key is hydration! I can drink and drink all night and I drink 2 big glasses of water before I go to bed and never have a hangover. The drink and drink and then add 2 glasses of water may be hard on the older crowd and going to the potty though? Although I'm no spring chix here at 40.

There's already a way to drink beer without getting drunk and I guess it stops the hangover too the spokesman for Sam Adams ingests yeast before every beer

B vitamins before or after drinking, plus water every other drink or so and right before you go to bed. You'll be peeing a lot but that isn't anything different from what beer normally does to you.

That man is absolutely wasted at over half of the festivals he goes to. The only thing ingesting yeast before drinking does is make you fart like crazy from all the additional fermentation byproducts. You couldn't pay me to smell Jim Koch's underwear after a night of him drinking.

Hummmm?????...uh oh! beep,beep,beep,beep..[that is my "Bullshit" detector going off big time]~simple fact is this~if you get hammered as hell the night before,whether it be on "Beer",Vodka,Jim Beam,Gin,or ANY other adult beverage with "Alcohol" you ARE going to a hangover~~period,now there are some ways to control feeling like shit the next day for sure,never mix wine with whiskey,never drink Beer,Vodka and then a few glasses of wine, in other words if you are drinking Beer,and want a vodka drink...fine,or drinking beer and then want a few glasses of wine, perfectly fine...just do not mix all 3 together,or you will feel like a pig shat in your head the next day..lmao~and why bother drinking "Light Beer" it all sucks,ALL of it,if it was strictly a price issue and light beer was super cheap,then perhaps I could see why some folks drink this swill,..but shit man! I was @ my local Beer store yesterday,getting my usual supplies [a 12ver of Sierra Nevada Pale ale,and a 12ver of their Extra IPA Torpedo..yum!] both were priced @ $14.99 a 12 pack...meanwhile,in the other cooler,they had "Bud Light platinum" @ $13.99 a 12ver....Really? what kind of self respecting Beer drinker would not spend the extra dollar for a stellar APA/IPA and opt for watered down corn soda? no offence to "Light Beer drinkers,if that is what you like and enjoy,then that is fine,and you should always drink what you like man,but for me paying 14 bucks a 12ver for light beer just seems ...insane and crazy as hell~anyway cheers 2 all;]

I only get a bad hangover if I mix beer and booze. If I stick to beer, it's there but goes away after I eat in the morning.
