Special kegs are being tapped for a low-key 4th anniversary, no list though. I'm getting the feeling this weekend will be busy out there. At least it isn't raining.

C5 was much better on draft than the bottle, i'm interested to taste how the bottle will be in a few weeks. i just drank a b4 AR that was probably my favorite version of any sour I've had from jester king.

Fruit sours no longer count for the case discount. Interesting.

Had this at the JK/ Prairie event in Dallas. It was exceptional. Really hope this lasts, it's up there with Atrial for me.

My sister said it was OK on draft... But that bottle... Fantastic... Maybe better than Atrial and Nocturn in my book

The free beer pours really saved the event... Had Coolship pour from Chase, very nice! Large free pours of Colour 5, plus I bought a couple. Balconies Bomb next to Pirate, I could really taste the whiskey.

You need to revisit ARb4 before you make a statement like that!

Probably, I've been saving them. But I honestly enjoyed it more than FT and AL. But I may not fully appreciate them, since they are the only versions of a peach/apricot sour that I've had. And I've only had FT on draft. I've been saving the bottles after not being overly impressed by the draft.

It's in the same vein as AR and NC, as in I enjoyed it immediately, without having to reflect and think about the beer. If that makes sense...

But I've enjoyed them all, and will be down at JK on Sunday. Looking forward to picking up, and trying that Strawberry for the first time!

That's not entirely true. We setup a special tent for Colour Five bottles in response to your complaints over wait times for Fen Tao. We did the same thing for the initial Aurelian Lure and O&P release. When our fruited sours are not at a special station and are at our normal bottles to go station, the case discount applies. For instance, O&P was at our normal bottles to go tent all last weekend, and the case discount applied to it. There's a practical difficulty created by trying to manage a case discount across two separate stations, especially when it is busy.

You can't please everyone no matter how hard you try.

according to jeff's post, you can't even please that one person when you try...

hoping this makes it to next weekend... might find myself in austin on a last second kind of deal and would love the chance at a bottle....

We'll probably figure out a way to re-incorporate bottles at the special release station back into the case discount. We definitely think they should count. We just prioritized cutting down the wait time for special releases like Aurelian Lure, Fen Tao, Coulour Five, etc.

honestly its as easy as separating the merchandise line from the bottle line.

Friday went amazingly smooth, early birds queued up about 5 minutes before for the special release bottles. Was amazing to see FT on cask and O&P for bottle pours. I, for one, really enjoy the minor changes you guys have implemented to cut down on lines...lets me relax, enjoy the scenery, drink a few more pours, and BS with the other beer folk.
