Before I go any further I must be up front in saying that I HATE Halloween for reasons I won't get into due to it not pertaining to beer, but nonetheless.....My kids are going separate ways to trick or treat with groups, leaving me with the opportunity to unwind for a few pints at a local haunt. My fear is that said local haunts will have the obligatory jackasses in costume AND acting out their characters (part of my hate for Halloween), so perhaps swinging by bottle shop and heading home to watch hockey and eat bad food with good beer is a better choice. With all that being said, I have a little poll to see how BA membership deals with this "holiday".

I have a bottle of Pliny at home that's going to turn into a pumpkin if I don't drink it tonight.

That's about as close as I'll get to celebrating today. I fucking HATE Halloween.

Seeking out some New Glarus, Ale Asylum and Capitol at Freak Fest in Madison, WI. Gov't Mule playing a cover set of Neil Young is good accompaniment but it's all about the beer

Not really a big fan of Halloween or costumes, but I got invited to a costume party at a friend's house this year, and said friend is a craft drinker, so I'm going to go for a bit and take a couple of bottles with me. Personally, I would rather go to a house party where people are dressed up, even if I don't have a costume, than go to a local establishment were there will be people in costumes, some obnoxious and others not. But I've found that the neighborhood where most of the good craft-oriented bars in Louisville are located typically goes "all-out" for Halloween (i.e. a couple of weekends ago was a "zombie walk" and this weekend there are dozens of costume parties at establishments all up and down the Highlands and the Cliftons) so you're really kind of out of place if you aren't in some sort of get-up.

Since my sons still too young to trick or treat, we're just going to stay home and hand out candy (while I have a few beers)!

Having a bottle of Warlock before taking the kids trick or treating. Then having a Zombie Monkie or two while walking along supervising said trick or treating. It's going to be damn cold though, other than that a good evening.

Dressing up and going to a private party. I don't have much of an opinion on Halloween one way or the other, but my wife and a lot of our friends love it. I'll probably end up bringing a few pumpkin beers (Schlafly and O'Fallon's namely) from the fridge along and drinking those.

I did dress up and go out to a (non-craft) bar about 5 or 6 years ago, and yeah...total shit show. No fun at all. Avoid at all costs!

I'll be handing out candy while having a few holiday inspired brews. I've got a bottle of Three Floyds Topless Wytch that seems to be halloween appropriate.

Having a bottle(s) of something from the AB Box and going to a halloween party, then hopefully a craft beer bar.

After some brief trick-or-treating with me and my wife, our two and half year old will be crashing at my in-laws. After that, my friends invited us over to help them hand out candy to the ridiculous amount of kids that come to their house. For laughs we all decided to throw together costumes. I bought a crappy wig and top hat, gonna throw on the aviator sun glasses and fashion a fake cigarette so I can go as this man:

Whilst dressed like Slash, I will also be drinking like Slash, that is to say, heavily. Though I will likely get into some of his beloved Jack Daniels, I have two Hop Drop n Roll tallboys courteousy of @nc41, two cans of The Crisp and two bottles of Flipside that I have plans to tackle.

Scaring the shit out of the neighborhood kids. Taking my kids out trick or treating. Giving away candy to the kids and homebrew to the Dads.

I put a 3 year old La Parcela and a KDS in the fridge for myself.

The last time I saw Gov't Mule was a couple of summers ago with Dr. John, needless to say it was a great show, especially when Dr. John played The Weight with Gov't Mule and the Spanish Moon encore, showing love to Little Feat.
