I am going to be shipping Monday to a twins fan. I apologize for the delay was hoping to get it out yesterday but I was involved in an auto accident that literally wrecked my whole day. I could have shipped it out today but I didn't want to have it sit in a warehouse or truck over the weekend. Hopefully it will be worth the wait and sorry for the delay again!

 

Actually, I think the last few sender-target pairs that we weren't sure of are now obvious. Unless I missed something, there are still 8 people who haven't posted pRon yet -- @mklisz (who is the only one I may have missed), @PG2G , @ninjembro , @surlytwinsfan , @Mikexw , @Clarkson , @blackcloud , and @Tee2Grn . I think there are also a couple of folks who have posted something already, but have more coming.

 

I was referring to Tweak - not 5 Monks or Black Eye. Sorry for the confusion. Unless they previously bottled Tweak and no one told me.

 

I guess I didn't miss you.

 

Mine will be shipping tomorrow and should arrive between Tuesday and Thursday depending on whether I get to the store before the Saturday shipping cutoff closes (probably won't due to beer release) and how many days it takes to get to my sender (either two or three, haven't actually looked yet).

 

BTW -- a little side pRon -- PA-Michigander had contacted me for someone's address (one of about 10 people to do that, by the way -- it is amazing how much beer you guys send to each other), and mentioned Pizza Boy. And when I drooled as part of my response and said how good one of their beers sounded, he offered to send me a growler of it. What arrived today but...
Three Floyds yumyum - I had my first one of these last week, and it was indeed yumyum
Pizza Boy Simcoe SamuRYE - I never heard of this, but since I usually love rye beers I am looking forward to it
Pizza Boy Sunny Side Up (the beer I expressed interest in) with a matching "coffee" mug!!!! I am SO psyched
Three Floyds Broodoo - I had my first one of these last week too, but was splitting with a friend who usually doesn't like craft beers and DID like this one, so I only got to drink about 7 or 8 ounces of it. I'm keeping this one for myself.
Pizza Boy Bean Dream - more!?!?! Pizza Boy? This one's a Milk Porter -- and I've just recently started getting into Porters so am psyched about this as well

 

Ohhhhhh... gotcha...No Tweak has never been bottled. It's being released 11/16. I've already got a bunch of bottles promised to other folks, but I will see what I can do for you too!

I don't want to step on Nick's toes, but I drove up to meet him and also picked up a case of Pizza Boy Bean Dream. I really enjoy it, but if anyone is ISO - just let me know! I want to spread the love in the 'Locals Dojo!'

 

Starting off Halloween with this deliciousness.

Soup is simmering and pie is cooling. Now I'm just hoping the rain stops for a couple hours for trick or treating.

 

No one was hurt my back is a little sore but thanks to @Clarkson I have plenty of liquid pain killer. Car has seen better days but it is a company car so not much lost especially since I was not at fault or cited for the accident. Just wasted about 3/4 hours of my day.

 

The most geographically removed participant has a box in transit, however by being so geographically removed, it won't arrive until Tuesday.

 

Thanks. And like I said, if not, no big deal. Since this is the first bottling and since Tweak is fantastic, I imagine this will be something of a sh#t show.

 

Perhaps @Mikexw, our group enforcer, needs to pay the other driver a visit.

 

We'll see. I'm expecting the bottle release to be very busy, but I do know that they produced a LARGE quantity of this brew, over 2000 (12 bottle) cases, which would put it on par with the recent releases of Rumpkin and PumpKYn... so if you saw those bottles in MD, it's pretty likely you'll see Tweak too and you may not even need my help

Hill Farmstead tasting glass - Oh man, this is amazing! I was looking for a glass like this and settled on one from Specs that wasn't exactly what I wanted. This is perfect. I'm using this guy tomorrow for sure.
Allagash - Saison - A second bottle! I think he knew I'd enjoy the first one so much.
Saucony Creek - Maple Mistress - I've had one beer from these guys, but I didn't know about this one. It sounds awesome!
Forgotten Boardwalk - 1916 Shore Shiver IPA - I've never heard of these guys. Wow, this one only has 17 ratings. Love it.
Forgotten Boardwalk - What The Butler Saw Witbier - Even less ratings! Witbiers are great, can't wait to try it.
Carton - 077XX x2 - Awesome! I was hoping for this one. Only had a sip before, glad to have two cans to myself!

A note on the treats: So, here's the awesome thing. I totally forgot to mention to Mike when we started this that I'm vegan (with the exception of beer, that's my one cheat.). I didn't even think about treats until we were halfway into this, and I don't really like to bother people with it. I didn't want to mention anything that late because I didn't want my sender to have already gone out and purchased something for me, it not be vegan and then him have to feel bad about it, or second guess any beer he would be sending me, even though beer is the exception. But coincidentally, my treats are vegan!

Ivins Famous Spiced Wafers - I've already dug into these, they're so good. We actually had some samples of wafers somewhat similar to this at my store and I made a mental note that I wanted some. What do you know, these are even better!
Goldenberg's Peanut Chews x8 - I haven't had one of these yet, but they sound great.

Thanks a bunch again Jesse, so much awesomeness between these two boxes. I am officially running out of room in my fridge.
