Cool. I've always loved it, but the popularity of it on these boards is making me question how scarce it might be. Thanks!

I've found that you can have 20-30 people creating mass hype on the boards/facebook. This will create a false perception that it is like 5000 people making the chase, when it reality it's just 20-30 people.

I mostly agree with you, but it seems like a lot of stores around here only got like 2-3 cases, and if they aren't really enforcing limits, it only takes like 10 people to clear out most of a county in an afternoon before other people even get out of work.

Backwoods sold out from the general store in 2.5 weeks last year.

Last year it was gone in a week from Founders store. They released today, 2 case limit.

I bought two four packs today and when I mentioned that the coolers were running low, the employee laughed at me and said, "we're not running out anytime soon."

One employee, a vague statement, but still, promising for those who are worried about missing out.

So glad we swung by Founders yesterday after Odd Side -- BB case and snifter made for an awesome Halloween treat!

Honestly they say that ever year. It will definitely be around for at least 2 weeks, as it is every year.

And yet here in Chicago, there will be places selling single bottles. And even places selling singles for 8 bucks each, as I saw two years ago.

Picked up some at the brewery. Then I went into the woods, chopped down some trees, and enjoyed one in the backwoods.

It will, just give it a few weeks. They still have KBS/Dissenter/Mosaic/Sweet Repute/Etc. for sale so I'm sure these will make it up there.

Was up at Founders about an hour ago, picked up a case and a glass. Talking with the folks at the store, they expect to sell the rest of their allotment by the end of the day. Despite the increased production it seems as if they will sell out in a fraction of the time in years past, even with being closed on Sunday for their company party.

Sold out or not, heading over for a pour of Pumpkinmudgeon may be worth a trip for as long as it remains on tap.

Jesus, guess a trip up to Founder's this weekend for my BB fix is a no go. It's down to chasing it at stores...my jimmies will be pretty rustled if I miss this again this year.

That's a bummer. I was considering a trip that way next week while my wife was out of town. Still have a couple from last year but I don't know that they'll last long.
