Making Monday a little better.

 

I don't have kids but I do have many younger cousins (as much as 20 years younger), so I've spent lots of time around kids. The ultrasound where you can find out the gender occurs at 20+- weeks.

@EA728 - I had your barleywine. It was sweet (almost too sweet for my tastes) but really impressive. I was surprised a homwbrewer could handle the aging necessary to get those oak flavors (I know little about home brewing FYI). It was sweet enough I really want you to age some in a bourbon barrels as I think it would be DELICIOUS after six or so months. The sweetness of your barleywine would mesh nicely with the booziness of the bourbon. Well done.

 

That box was so epic to start! I've been having a blast rocking through all of the beers. It has been "Due South" week at my place so far, but I'm thinking of shifting to Cigar-City-fest tonight.

If the swag and treat are anything more than a coaster and (perishable?) breath mint, then I may owe you my next child...

Wow, thanks for the compliments! I agree, if I did it again I would increaese the oak and bourbon flavors. But its nice to hear someone outside of my drinking circle give me criticism and complements!
