Framboise for the cure base beer

From tasting it. I'd say the same base for Consecration/temptation/supp.

 

20% Beat, 80% Temp

 

Temptation

 

Blonde Ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with brett, lacto, and pedio (base beer is Temptation). This sour barrel-aged blonde ale has 31 pounds per barrel of fresh raspberries to make a beautiful reddish/pink beer! Nicely balanced with sweet raspberry and tartness. This beer is made only once a year in conjunction with our month-long fundraiser for the Sutter Breast Care Services of Santa Rosa during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 100% of the proceeds of this beer will be used to help men and women in our community in their fight against breast cancer! 6.5% ABV

End of speculation.

 

Is that up to date? It has varied in the past (started as straight Tempation, the last year or two was a blend of Beat and Tempt).

 

It mostly Temptation with a small blend of Sonambic- Beat is the blend of Sonambic, but since this is the same blend it is not actually 20% Beat. Think Lambic vs Guezue.

 

Actually, batch 1 was 100% Beatification.

 

That's for 2013, 2014 was pure Temptation.

I was told by an employee at the brewery that this year's release was a blend of Beat (20%) and Temptation (80%).

 

I called the brewery today and asked the person I was connected to at the bar. Some small part Beatification was what he said, whether that means blended or unblended Sonambic in this case I am unsure. He had more to say but didn't want to be quoted due to uncertainty on other matters. He was totally confident that the beer was a blend and not just temptation though.
