Good to see Murray's bottling line on the move again.

    • Wild Thing
    • Heart of Darkness
    • Seasons in the Abyss

    all set to be re-released.
(btw I know SITA is technically new release, but I do recall fondly sitting at Manly with a glass in my hand on the Sunday lunchtime after last years Dark Beer night. Very nice it was too, tho not quite Wild Thing) Glad to see ALEBOY got the naming rights, and personally surprised it wasn't named after a Brian Eno track, given that.... :grinning:

    It's been a while!

Looking forward to this, didn't realise SITA was even higher alcohol than Wild Thing

Makes sense, Slayer were always heavier than Tone Loc

What's better than an imperial stout on a winter's night? Three of them, bring it on Murrays!!!

Murrays just put out an email saying:

The beers will become progressively available from leading craft beer outlets from next week.

I was just on the phone with Murrays at Bob's Farm...Wild Thing will be ready to drink from the bottle next week, but is getting shipped out now. Heart of Darkness is available now and getting shipped out now as well.

Seasons in the Abyss will be ready in the bottle next week and will get shipped out then.

Mr K waves his magic wand and beers appear. You call me crazy people, but I swear he is a wizard. A WIZARD! Look at the facts!

I'm no wizard, trust me:slight_smile: There are wizards in this country when it comes to beer, but i'm not one of them!

Just made a call to Murrays to put in an order and thought i'd pass on what i heard.

    Folks,
Now the dust has settled and a few weeks have gone by - what's the verdict?
Asking as i tried one of my cube of Wild Thing, and was necessarily as impressed as I might have been. However, and it's a big however, I tried a 2011 version the week before.
I note Danieelol also noted something about it being a little 'fresh'.
    Cheers,

Big stout (big roast, big hops, big abv), very young, exactly the same as the previous years and all the numbers line up the same. Just like a big young barossa red thats just been released. Try the draught version... even more agro.
