Seems any thread dedicated to Oxbow is pretty old, so I figured I'd start a new one. I just saw on Facebook that their Blending & Bottling space is now open in Portland. The tasting room in Newcastle is a beautiful space, but it sure is a haul. Glad that bottles will be a bit easier to get!

    Tuesday: 12 - 7PM
    Wednesday: 12 - 7PM
    Thursday: 12-7PM
    Friday: 12 - 10PM
    Saturday: 12 - 10PM
    Sunday: 12 - 10PM

    From their website:
Our Portland Blending & Bottling tasting room will open to open to the public on Thursday November 6th Noon-7pm, as well as Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th from noon-10pm.
Both locations serve samples to enjoy on tap, and bottles, growlers, and soft goods are available for purchase to go.

pretty pumped to see this. Portland is certainly a more manageable day trip than Newcastle

Is it a tasting room/bottle shop?

Awesome awesome news - What a great addition to that area.

To any Visitors there this week: Please post pics of the site, tap lists, bottle availability, etc. Thanks in advance!

Another outstanding addition to the thoroughly walkable neighborhood of (Y)east Bayside where fermentation biz rules! It's become the Waterbury of Portland, and it's purely awesome!

Was just there this afternoon to check it. Sweet place and plenty spacious. I definitely plan on frequenting often. No growlers yet, but they say soon. They had La Grisetta, Blended Oxtoberfest, and Arboreal for sale as bottles. All of which were also on tap along with continental, domestic, grizacca, and space cowboy. There were a couple more, but some dude's head is in the way of the draft board in the picture I took.

Is it just "Samples" off the taps, OR full pours too?

Maine has always been a great beer city! But lately they are killing it. If you include some of the NH Seacoast breweries there are close to 20 breweries well worth a visit.

Awesome, that's great. Thanks for the details! Last Question: Are they NOT filling any growlers at this time? OR would they fill any Oxbow glass I might already have from Newcastle?

    Thanks again,
