For me it would have to be @woosterbill hosting a share at his place and inviting a number of local BAs. I was relatively new to BA and I'm pretty sure it was my first bottle share...I never met Will in person beforehand and met a bunch of great people - many of whom I see somewhat frequently now. Really all of the Wednesday regulars at Nebco are just great dudes.

Turns out these boxes added up to 74lbs filled with tough want after tough want including a huna, and all he wants in return is a bottle of darkness and three four packs of abrasive. The generosity of BA'S such as @mhenson42 just can't go unnoticed by all. *cries some more*

Speaking of crying (what I feel like doing), @Justdoit1234 - the MVP of this thread and officially INSANELY generous person just overnighted this to my porch and says he wants nothing in return. That's NOT an option for me, but THIS cannot go unknown to the rest of the BA community. I am going to try, but I literally cannot thank him enough!!!!

A few months back, money got tight. As in, I had to pawn a couple of things I really wanted to hang onto level tight. I asked a friend for a bit of help, and she and her hubby put together a care package of some groceries and a couple of bottles of home-brewed mead as well. That really helped to get me through a rough patch a lot more smoothly. See, that's how you know real friendship. When there's a willingness to gift alcohol. :grinning:

Just want to shout out all 7 of my current trade partners that I've dealt with here on BA. There can tend to be alot of negative thoughts about human beings these days but 7 times I have trusted complete strangers to send me beer and glassware in return for the same and 7 times I have yet to be disappointed. So cheers to you @Fitze (my first BA trade) @Tony412, @StrongRepublican, @Steve_Gonz, @Rizdac, @Robyn, and @johnyb!

@itsrk Came into Savannah for the Rock 'n Roll Marathon and brought these gems with him to share last night before the race. So appreciative of this. The craft beer community is full of great people!

I have been reading this site for about 2 years now, only joined last January, and in that amount of time I have had conversations with plenty of generous people. From private messages regarding where to go for stuff, to great suggestions on threads I have posted, to all the help in the shipping forums, the generosity of this community has been unbelieveable. I literally have had 1 negative comment in 10 months and almost 700 posts.

I have had the opportunity to trade with some really good people. I will leave out specific beers just in case so they dont get hounded, but every one of these guys has offered up things that some people try to break the bank with for shelf beers in return in many cases. One of these fellas didn't even have any requests other than anything from a certain brewery. One guy saw me drooling over something in WBAYDN and went to get it for me and didnt want anything in return. My first trade friend has even gone shopping for me on the side. One of these guys trumped my NBS contribution and is an awesome contributor to this site And one of these guys is as loyal to his trading partners as he is his sports teams. Cheers to all you good folks @paresis @SanFranJake @creepinjeeper @jzeilinger @Roguer

The biggest single act was @CaptCleveland breaking out a beer for out IP drinks and trade that I would likely never have had the opportuntiy to enjoy, along with my 2 brothers and the brewery staff. He barely got to drink any of his own bottle. This is what it is all about, and I have tried, and contiue to try to do the same. Whether through extras, sharing my hard to get beers with family and friends, or visiting local breweries. Advocate good times and more importantly, good beer.

Well said!! I have tried to be that example as well. It would be remiss of me not to mention all of the great people I have traded with. Their generosity has been just awesome, inspiring and examples of what you have said. @skinsfan , @pagesofphotographs , @logjammin , @snansel , @302BeerGuy , @DanielBarba, @BlueRogue , @TongoRad , @Kadonny and, yourself! (Just you wait and see ...)

Cool thread! I send stuff on occasion to fellow BA's who are really trying to get something with no luck and won't give my address! I tell them to pass on the favor to someone else in the future as it truly feels better helping someone out more then drinking these great beers believe it or not. Now after saying that, I got to give a shot out to Beestin for a box he sent unexpected on my 40th birthday loaded with my favorite brew (pseudo sue)! Same guy that on a later trade threw in an assassin as an extra! That's what this is all about! Pass it on fellow BA's!

A trade I did with @Shroud0fdoom. I sent him a 4-pack of Blazing World, and a bomber of GF Citra Session, and Port Hop Tide for two Another One's and a Palo Santo Marron. He then sent me another box with Mo, Zoe, 120 Minute, and Pannepot Grand Reserva.

My thanks goes to @Prager62. A late night question regarding his avatar, scored me an array of vintage coasters. After few laughs about beers and breweries of yesteryear, I received an entire pile of vintage coasters. Everyone knows... I LOVE OLD STYLE !!! Jim, thank you again !!!
