How often do you shop for beer?

Every time you guys post in that 'Beer Releases' forum.

 

Every Thursday and Friday after I get off work.

 

A couple of times each month. I don't drink all that much at home. I actually tend to do more drinking at craft beer bars/bars in general.

 

Hmm I didn't see the "Everyday" choice on this question -

 

The place I like to go to is a bit out of the way, so I usually go whenever I have the opportunity, although never more than once a week. Usually more like once a month. Otherwise I'll stop on my way home from work for a 12-pack of something every couple weeks.

 

I always tell myself, "that's it for this month"... it never is.

 

Thursday at one place and Friday at another

 

I defined shopping as actually buying. I only buy once a month as I homebrew. I can go months without buying anything. Then holiday time comes and I am out once a week. I am in a store a couple times a week, but since I have a ton of beer already at home it is just window shopping. I usually can find a beer store to roam when my wife is otherwise engaged in shopping.

 

Every single day. Granted my LBS is a block from my office, so I walk down at lunch almost every day. Weekend I usually hit a brewery and Sunday I browse the grocery store while shopping...

 

I voted for once a week, since that's my usual minimum (even with a fully stocked beer fridge).

I "shop" online throughout the week, periodically checking Facebook updates, newsletters, etc. If anything pops up from the 'Wants' list, then it's time to hit the store.

 

I go to my local Beer Store about once per week on average. But, my local grocery store has a great selection or craft beer so I usually check it everytime I'm there (3 to 4 times per week) to see if something new catches my eye.

That being said, I probably only "buy" beer about once per week.

 

I typically go about once a week, but that changes depending on what's releasing. For example, when BCBS releases, I tend to go a few times a week to various places, to check and see if they've gotten any in.

Generally speaking though, I try to make a trip to my favorite Binny's (Lincoln Park) once a week, to see what they've got.

 

I only buy beer 2-3 times per month, but I "shop" for it just about every day figuring out what I want to get and where to find the best deals. Of course this does not include beer consumed at restaurants although I do plenty of beer research before going to restaurants as well!

 

I brew 98% of the beer we drink, and have a 4 keg set up to keep a nice variety available all the times...so I only buy about a 6 or 12 pack of various bottles from the local bottle shop once a month just to have something different to drink. After brewing your own beer, commercial beers just don't taste as good as they used to as well, so I only buy bottles that I really want to try. It amazes me that I can brew 5 gallons of an amazing IPA for $20 or so and I barely get a sixer at the bottle shop for the same cost!!!

I work part time at Total Wine, usually Thursday night and Saturday afternoons...I scout out new beers on Thursdays and make my purchases on Saturday, it there's nothing new, I have plenty others to choose from

 

usually go every sunday with the kid to give my wife a break, occasionally if one of my local places gets in something special i'll try and make it after work.

 

About once a week but there are weeks when I am in beer hunt mode. Hunted last week about 4x.

 

Basically any time I'm out, if I'm near a store that usually has a good selection, I stop.
