It's closest without going over, right? I may regret this...

    The other guesses are 88, 93, 97, and 111.

And there's 59 colored glasses and 42 shakers and 34 Michigan glasses. My own glass collection, shakers make up just over half, which means by this metric I'd have fewer than 80. Colored glasses make up over 90% though, which means I'd have 66. And Texas-centric glasses are a huge percentage, and Michigan ain't that small, right?

Therefore I think 88 is too high. And so I'm gonna price-is-right it the right way and go with ONE.

I like where your head's at, I just hope it's more than 45  (I also appreciate you price-is-righting it the right way, and not going with 87)

Actually the rules state closest number wins and if its a tie then it goes to price is right rules.

I mean, obviously it's up to @NJB145 to decide, but I had been operating under the original rules. If I had realized that there were two conflicting rules, I would have bid much differently. In fact, I would have bid 87.

Frankly, I'm sorry to hear that. Not because my guess is 88, but because I find it a shame that you feel the need to treat someone's generosity as a chance to game the system.

Guys - sorry for the delay, was dealing with a death in the family last night. This at least gives me a little bit of an escape from it.

OK, so I did change the rule to round 4 to the closest as I was not sure with only 5 participants someone would be below the number, so I felt the leaving it to the closest guess would be the best and leaving the "price is right" rule as the tie breaker. I'm sorry that it caused any heartache.

Without further ado, the actual number is 96, so @MCMASTERSANCHEZ is the winner of the box. Please send me your info and I should be able to find the time to get the box out to you in the next day or so.

Also, since I respect promptness and when someone is able to go through these stupid four rounds with continually the first couple of guesses submitted, @Lehighace06 will also be getting a box. So send me your info as well.

Thanks to everyone who played and cheers!

"would have" is probably a bit different than "did" - but I for the most part agree with your sentiment and can understand where you're coming from. Moot point anyway and frankly I agree with @NJB145 (my condolences, as well) in both his explanation and in his additional box to you.

I thought this was a fun BIF and am glad I got even the opportunity to participate!
