    Its a double concoction mash version of framinghammer, now we just need a local ice cream maker to let them use their facilities to make an iced lager ness monster....a beer geek can dream....

    This beer started with the same recipe as Framinghammer. After going through the Mash Tun once, we refilled it with a second batch of grain and re-used the wort instead of water for the second mash to concentrate the wort. This was brewed in March and has been aging in bourbon barrels since.

    This sounds delicious. Any thoughts on whether this will last until the weekend? What's the bottle limit?

    No bottle limit and we are expecting it to last us through the Holidays.

    Pretty excited for this, though it hardly "popped up outta nowhere." They posted a pic of it on the bottling line almond ya month ago and noted an early Nov release date.

    Didn't realize this saw time in the barrels, quite awesome. Previously used or fresh and usual suspects as far as the bourbon brands? Beer geeks gotta geek....

    Probably seeing you guys Thursday night as the new job has kept me quite busy and I've gone more than 2 weeks without a visit, which doesn't feel right at all.

    They were aged in fresh barrels, they were barreled the same time as the last BA Framinghammer, just stayed in much longer.

    Great Price = More Bottles for me = Still gonna completely kill my wallet across Nov/Dec if it's even half as good as it sounds.

    Any early Reports out there? Who has a review? Quit holding out on us, Need intel on the Monster

    Sounds like a great local alternative to BCBS.

    Not as good a value, but judging by the comment above could have been worse. Definitely worth buying if early reports of quality I'm hearing are true, though.

    Yep. Well liked --> http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26520/141598/
    I thought it drank a bit too easy for 15% LOL. I suggest having some food in your belly before you order a glass of it (and probably others, amiright?). If you like regular BA framinghammer, you'll like this.
