Bad Trader Alert: lokieman

    Well I hate to do this but @lokieman has gone MIA from his box sending responsibilities from this past fantasy baseball season. As the commish, I probably waited too long to call him out but was "hopeful" he'd send his $100+ box to the deserving BA @Damian74Shensky. At this point he is checking in and updating his team on the fantasy football league we are all (also) in together but all contact (BMs, fantasy message board threads, email, text) have gone unanswered. Tried calling his phone a couple times and am greeted with a "user is not currently accepting calls" message.

    Deadline was set on October 1st for October 15th to be the deadline to ship his box. He has been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (and hence would have to send a box) since mid-August at least.

    If anyone knows him personally and could do some good in this situation I (we, Damian) would greatly appreciate it. Just wanted to let y'all know to watch out for him.

    while we don't allow posting of personal information publicly, it's clear that you've got other means of contacting him. if he comes back with another account, please let us know.

    @Todd, could you enlighten the community (or me privately) on the reason why or anything else that would help get the great BA @Damian74Shensky his beer? Thanks.

    I hate to hear this!! Had multiple trades with Lokieman and he was always a solid trader!! Hope this gets worked out!!

    That sucks for Damian as he runs a lot of these BIFs for us. OP, let me know if you need help making this good for him.

    Well this is surprising, and sad to see. Keith is a cool guy, and I honestly had no idea that he moved to OKC. He used to live close to me, and we got together to swap bottles and drink beers a few times. I'll see if I have any other way to contact him, but I think I only have his cell #.

    It's all good, appreciate the gesture, to everyone that offered to help pick up lokie's slack. But every once in a while we get a dead beat. I'll still keep playing and running bif's, because the 98% of cool BA's on here make it fun and worth wild.

    This is exactly right. No one should be screwed like this but especially someone who has done so much for this community.

    He used to live over by Parmer and 35, but I guess he moved to OKC about 6 months ago. I don't know if you knew him, but he went out to JK occasionally.

    @Duff27 Well, I personally hate to see this happen to anyone. If there is something from my neck of the woods that I can send to help lessen this "dead beat", hit me up. Also, I'll me more than happy to fill his spot in Fantasy Football next year if you need someone.:wink:

    As everyone else has said @Damian74Shensky doesn't deserve to be screwed over. He does a ton for the trading and BIF/LIF community. I'd happily try and make him whole if no one can help coerce the loser into sending the agreed upon beer.

    He's got a big box coming from me at the end of the regular NFL season for being such a G, so I'll toss an extra bottle in for this as well.

    @F2brewers and @blue-dream can I say "fuck you" to someone with a deactivated account?
